375º Chicken 'n Fries — Restaurant in Newark

The Food is great forget about that part but they sold me and my wife flat sodas ???? I immediately told the cashier that the sodas were flat ($3.29 each soda Boylan Fountains) the cashier shrugged her shoulders and told me there weren’t any refunds and pointed to a sign … that sign is a red flag btw. I said I did not expect to receive less that standard fountain drink she then said we will replace it i said just give me 2 cans of COKE to avoid the Flat Fountain sodas she handed them to me we stare at each other awkwardly until I mentioned the cokes are 1$ each so I need my change she got aggressive and said Im lucky that they exchanged the drink for another….. I said really Im lucky to receive 7$ of flat sodas ? Someone else intervened and gave me my money back.

Food is good do with this information what ever you want but I’ll pass on this place that was...

Okay, I did not know this place existed until my friend from Rutgers told me about it. I was not hungry but was told to try it, so I ordered the popcorn chicken. One thing I was hesitant about was the popcorn chicken batter and how oily it would be. All the worries went away after freshly trying it out. I can not vouch for everything except the popcorn chicken, which was delicious. I was full, but the freshness and the sauce mixed in it was too good to leave for later. It's a small, hidden place in the plaza, but it packs a punch. If I head over near that area again, this would be a late-night snack option for me. I would definitely recommend this to others to try it out themselves and judge...

Visited the area recently and stopped in here for lunch on a weekday… this “food court” type area in Gateway One had just a few eateries and this was one of them. This and the Fresh & Co next to it seemed to be the most popular at lunch time. You use a kiosk to order, which was quick and the wait for the food wasn’t too long. It came out freshy made and hot.

The fries were crispy and really tasty crinkle cut type fries. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich I got was excellent! I got medium heat which wasn’t very spicy at all but packed with flavor. The chicken’s fried batter was gentle and very tasty, so I’m sure all their other sandwiches would be just as good.
