We were here yesterday, 5/20/25. When we arrived everything look really empty, quiet. They had no other customers in the restaurant. Maybe because of the day and time, it was around 9 pm. But No music. Nothing. When we came in, there was the server, who said hi to us, and pointed to the table where we could sit. I asked the time they closed and he didn't understand what I was asking. I asked again, and he just handed me the menu. I left it like that, and just sat and looked at menu. I didn't see anything on the menu that would say they have soups, so I asked what type of soups they had and the server didn't understand what I was asking. He had to call someone else, and that person took our soup order. Then we order drinks, We asked for a glass of water and later we asked for a glass with lemon and he literally brought three bottles of water. Never came with the lemon nor the glass. Then I asked questions regarding the sushi rolls on the menu, and the only thing the server did was to point out to an ad they had sitting on the table with a QRcode. I didnt understand why he was pointing to the qrcode at all. I ended ordering something else. the food was served fast, that I must say, but the food was disgusting. The sushi rolls seem to be pre made. The rice was really cold, the spicy tuna roll tasted bad, it had a very strong smell, the tuna wasn't fresh. We ordered chicken fried rice and they brought us a shrimp and chicken fried rice. The fried rice had lumps of white rice that weren't mixed very well with the rest of the ingredients and when we took the first spoonful of rice there were tiny little rocks in the rice. My kids dad was chewing on the rice when he felt the hard piece that he was chewing on. He took it out and it was pieces of rock in the rice. We really did not enjoy this restaurant at all. It was supposed to be a special dinner for my daughters birthday, but the atmosphere, the food, customer service was horrible. I didnt want to complain or say anything because at the end of the day, they would even understand us. Ive been working with customer service, and I worked in a sushi/hibachi place for about 10 years, and I know alot about sushi. This sushi was not fresh, cold rice, pre made. The miso soup was salty and we heard when the soup was being heated in the microwave. Wrong order. Not a good customer service at all and on top of that, they included gratuity por a party of 4. Which i wouldn't mind at all if we were ro receive an excellent customer service. So be ready for that. I would never recommend this place at all, and would never come back to this restaurant again. Specially if you have kids. We literally left all the food there, that we paid for and did not eat. Very awful experience. Didnt even bother...
Read moreOne of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
We came in excited to try Brazilian-style sushi for the first time, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When I asked the server about the all-you-can-eat option, he appeared completely uninformed and unable to answer basic questions.
We ordered several appetizers but were only brought four very small items—none of which stood out, except for a Doritos chip, oddly enough. Following that, we waited over 40 minutes for our sushi, despite the restaurant being nearly empty with only two tables occupied.
When the sushi finally arrived, not only was our order incomplete, but what we did receive was extremely poor in quality. The first bite tasted off—unpleasant and far from fresh. Concerned about the reported $2 charge for uneaten pieces (as mentioned in other reviews), we reluctantly forced ourselves to eat them.
Throughout the meal, the server rarely, if ever, checked in. We had to flag someone down just to ask about the missing sashimi. When it arrived, it was somehow worse than the sushi: every single piece had bones in it. Just to confirm it’s a bone not a fiber! It poked my tongue 🤣. When we questioned the server, he casually replied, “Some people like it that way.” I found this response shocking and completely unacceptable.
By the end of the meal, I felt physically unwell and nauseated. To add insult to injury, a 15% service charge was automatically added to the bill—despite the near-total lack of service.
It’s possible we came on an off night, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. We were genuinely excited to try something new, but unfortunately, this was a regrettable and unpleasant experience from beginning to end.
I will not be returning.
PS. I was trying to reach out with them on instagram and they...
Read moreI want to start by saying that this review is not meant to attack or discredit, but to offer constructive criticism. The idea is that comments like these help establishments improve and provide a better experience for their customers. My wife and I recently visited the restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. We ordered the Couple Combo, but we were disappointed to find that the rolls were excessively fried on the outside and loaded with cream cheese. This completely overshadowed the flavor of the salmon and tuna, which were practically nonexistent. Instead of enjoying a fresh and well-balanced roll, all we could taste was burnt flavor mixed with cream cheese, which was quite underwhelming for a sushi restaurant. Since we weren’t satisfied, we decided to give it another try and ordered another tray of rolls, this time with avocado. However, to our surprise, the avocado was completely green and unripe, which negatively impacted both the taste and texture of the rolls.
Additionally, something that we found inappropriate was the automatic inclusion of the tip for a table of only two people. It’s not about the money, but about professionalism. Leaving a tip should be the customer’s decision based on the quality of service, not something imposed automatically, as it gives the impression of being an unethical tactic to ensure a tip. We hope that this feedback is taken in a positive light and helps improve the quality of the food and service. We believe that with a few adjustments, you could offer an experience that aligns better with what is expected from a...
