Oh my! I've been a loyal Domino's customer since moving to Delaware in 1986. Most recently under the TLC of Mohammed; the orders have been timely and accurate! Having been a loyal base customer for all these years; there have been a few issues; and nobody's perfect; not even we the customer!
This tiny building has to accommodate two sets of customers: the Enormous campus of students of the University of Delaware; and a ten-mile circumference of what is called "Newark Proper" but to those like the other persons in this house; (born here) is actually equivalent to six (6) of what they called "Hundreds" during the Revolutionary War ({1} hundred able bodied men in a farm land area). It now has 7 zip codes! Roughly a potential one hundred thousand or so client base there is potential there.. Unfortunately, in the past ten years, Papa John's and Cesar's, and one of three pizza and other Italian dinners from by the Coppola Family with names like Tony's have moved into the foot path of the UD student's area. Sbarro's closed and Season 's has been there before I moved here. I haven't been down Elkton Road so there could be another few pizza vendors in that area.
Because it is such a difficult area to serve; I tend to let little things slide. In all those years; I had only three complaints. The first was your discontinuation of Macaroni and cheese from the menu, the lack of food in the tin (the portion was so sparse that you could see the bottom of the tin and you could put your thumb in the plate and not hit food. and the other was the newer Marinara Sauce on the pizza's; leaving a vegetarian; no vegetarian with no food options and older folk like me in painful gastric distress from the spiciness of the pie. I brought the sauce issue up because I felt it important for others and myself. Oh did I ever have pain from that sauce ... three days worth!
There were two people, one of each gender, who have held a grudge and have done some "mean" things. I do not hear the male voice but when the girl is around; the tin portion is sparse and the bread bowl rather than the tin has the extra sauce; Marinara instead of garlic butter is put in with cheesy bread. The portion is unpredictable so two Primavera's are ordered and while the extra sauce is put in the bread instead of the tin I have let those things slide. The same young lady gets nasty on the phone ad could benefit from classes in customer relations and anger management.
Gotta tell you ... your Primavera Sauce is better than regional Italian restaurants! It goes toe-to-toe with Restaurants in New York City! I am the vegetarian; not the carnivores. I am happy with the Pasta Primavera but the problems with portion and inappropriate customer relations is why you didn't get the last star. I hope this is helpful to both Dominos and the remainder of the...
Read moreUsually order from this store and the pizza is good. Order a two pizza two topping deal on 8/14/18 my son went and got the pizzas...when he got home the pizzas were poorly made by sight two inch crusts and very little toppings. I called back to voice my displeasure and no one answered...which I have to say happens quite often at this store after 10 PM even though their hours say open till 3AM. But anyway...I called the next morning and spoke to a male manager who failed to introduce himself...told him the problem and he told me that he would credit my account for the two pizzas! The outcome was not my intention, although I was a pleased customer as I hung up the phone. Fast forward to this evening 8/23...I called in for my two pizza credit and had the extreme displeasure of speaking with (manager of the year) Antonina who followed suit and failed to identify herself until I felt compelled to ask her name after her treating me like a beggar for the pizza I was told I would be receiving a credit for...awesome phone call! Antonina grilled me for 15 minutes about my name the number I called from my address and her tone of voice was condescending at best...leaving me with a dirty feeling before I ended the phone call and order from Pat's Pizza! I will never order from this below par pizza place ever again...and will relay my story to as many people as possible in an effort to help customers avoid the treatment I endured from Antonina.
Just finished reading every review...obviously upper management either cares very little about customer service, does not read reviews, or stands behind the idiots they hire! I hope it isn't the third one...although with a 3.6 google rating it probably is...really pathetic for a national brand. I will be calling corporate tomorrow...really just to see the level of rudeness I get from them and nothing more! ...
Read moreWorst, I mean WORST, customer service I have ever experience in my entire life. Forgot my soda, no big deal. Manager told me she would give me "full credit on my next order". Now what does that sound like to you? "FULL" credit. So, thinking she was offering me "FULL CREDIT", as she stated, rather than a free soda, I called the following week and was sure to let JUSTINE, the employee that answered the phone, know what the manager had offered me. She immediately gave me an attitude, cut me off mid-sentence, and EVERY time I attempted to speak, she spoke over me. You better believe I raised my voice to her! I started getting irritated about 30 seconds into the phone call, in response to the way she was addressing me on the phone. I have never, ever felt so disrespected by an employee of ANY company in my life. Shotty service, and then a rude, disrespectful employee to follow that. I will never order from any Domino's again even if my life...
