Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Newark

The review is more about Domino’s as opposed to this particular location. They are pretty consistent in what they produce with an occasional miss which I’ll get over is the reason I gave them a 3-star review for food and 4-star for service. I gave 3 stars because it’s not an eat-in kind of place but could get sketchy late at night being next to a liquor store and sometime a few unhoused folks hanging around. As for Domino’s – I would give them as a business 1 star – there web site sucks. They keep on changing it, now if you want to use their web site coupon, you have to click on each one individually. Also, depending on location – the $6.99 coupons is $7.99 at this location. In some cases, items change, and you may not find the same item you purchased a few weeks ago. When I ordered and tried to check out, it lost all of the coupon information and had to re-input them one-by-one. What should have taken 5 minutes, I ended spending 15 minutes watching the screen keep changing. It’s even worse if you’re trying to order on a mobile device. Also, there rewards program sucks. They use some ancient card machine. When you add a tip and tap your card it doesn't work smoothly. Instead of telling us to swipe again (which most decent clerks do) some ill-mannered who has no idea about American people's politeness will say that your card has problems. Card has problems?? As if I am intentionally swiping some useless credit card 😬 Or your 19th century machine is useless? Even a small grocery shop has a better check out system. Pizza wasn't great either. Dominos gives deals but looks like their employees don't like it. Also, I am not sure after giving your order pizza people wash their hands thoroughly. The person who takes the payment also making pizza side by side. The topping quantity always varies and so does Pizza quality. No consistency as staff is always different. Staying at hotel. Ordered a medium pepperoni onion green pepper online. App is good. Tracking is good. Pizza shows up with jalapeños instead of green peppers. Call store. Horrible connection. They say it's their phone. Well, that's a problem. Tell them I want a partial credit. Tells me they can't. They can pick up wrong pizza and deliver new one. Already waited 35 min for first and starving. Tell them that is not an option. I can take off jalapeños. No can do they say. Then I suggest they deliver more food even though won't be hungry. Nope. Can't do that either. They can come get the bad pizza and give me a correct pizza. I hung up. Bad service. Your mistake in first place and doesn't look to be the first time according to reviews. Dominos will be on same path as Blockbuster Video - it's only a matter of time....
