I entered this restaurant after an entire day of not eating. I had a flight from Phoenix to Newark, and having no prior time to eat, I was hungry. It was the best possible case for this restaurant, and Flora still managed to disappoint. First the water. We chose to not spend 8 dollars on a small bottle of water, so we got the tap treatment. I didn't know that they fill their water pitchers with a hose! It was bitter and borderline undrinkable. I bet I'd have a better experience with Flint, MI water than here. After waiting for a good 15-20 minutes, we finally got our food. I ordered Chicken Shawarma and my brother ordered the Chicken wrap. Upon arrival, we were immediately disappointed. Whatever they served was not Shawarma. The Chicken was both soggy and dry. Not even Shawarma style. It was just some mildly spiced drumsticks. Even my "egg salad to the potluck" grandma would think it was bland. The Amba that was served with this Chicken was also horrible. The mangoes were more brown than orange. Horrible. This "Shawarma" was also topped with onions that were rotten. I picked around them, but they were absolutely disgusting. Now to the Chicken wrap. I can't comment on the quality of the sandwich itself, but I did try the fries. With that said, who spices their fries??? The only spice on fries should be salt. Fries should just be consumed as a catalyst for ketchup consumption. They should not be spiced. After a few fries, my brother was suddenly in putrid agony. One of his fries was rotten. That put him off from the rest of the meal. For 50 dollars, this was not worth it. I would not be surprised if I contract a nasty case of food poisoning after eating at this...

THIS RESTAURANT STOLE MY MONEY. The bartender with glasses is the one who refused to issue receipt and refund money for the food that was never served.
ORiGINAL POST: Very poor customer service. If you are not staffed, close tables and don't let people sit, order from phone, pay in advance including tip and wait forever. This is a trap. DON'T go to this place.
Party of four waited 10 minutes for table to be cleaned. Ordered $230 worth of food and drinks as two separate orders from one table. It took more than 40 minutes to serve food from the first order. Order was served incorrectly. Second order was never served after more than 50 minutes. Since the order wasnt served I went to the bar to inquire about the order and asked them to cancel since my boarding time was approaching. Bartender (tall with glasses who appears to be in his 50s) provided instructions how to request refund via OTG app. I submitted a request but nave not recieved a receipt that my order was cancelled. I asked for receipt and he said they don't give printed receipts.

I don’t care how hungry you are; there is a better option than Flora. The staff is about as clueless and unhelpful as possible, but they have plenty of time to record a TikTok of themselves dancing. The electronic menu in front of the place doesn’t match the menu the QR code pulls - something you only realize when you start to order. Making matters worse, some of the items we ordered weren’t available, but we weren’t told till after we paid. Why do I have to pay before getting my food? I was told to fill out a form, and the money would be refunded. Holding my breath on that one. Last but not least, I was charged $10 for two iced teas, which I assured the woman behind the bar that I only wanted one. Moments later, she emerged with a photo of the order to prove there was no way the restaurant made the mistake. It was clearly a mistake on my part, she said. She failed to notice on the same photo that the hummus we ordered wasn’t available, or the ordering directions for my salad were wrong as well.
