A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I love these guys. I love their food. I love bringing Halal virgins who have never tried this little gem and I love watching the look on their faces as they fall in love with the food. What isn't there to say? Generous, heaping, monster portions. If you aren't full at the end of this meal you probably have a medical condition that's worth getting checked out. The food is packed with flavor and is always very fresh. The chicken and lamb are especially savory. The rice is always cooked perfectly and has delectable flavor.
I can't emphasize this enough: get the fries. I don't know where they get them from or if they cook them a certain way, but they are low key some of the best fries I've ever had. It's a surprise, considering it's Halal, but a welcome one to be sure.
My go to orders are any of the shashliks or gyros. My friends who are also regulars swear by the cheesesteaks. They have a great $4 falafel gyro deal, but I think they upped the price on it to $5, which I understand because the gyros are huge.
The owners are incredibly cordial and friendly. They treat all customers with absurd levels of respect and they are more than happy to customize your order to your preference. They usually make free tea and offer tons of Pepsi products.
If you haven't tried this spot yet, what are you doing with your life? The menu has something for everyone. I have yet to find something on the menu that disappointed.

Read moreUnequivocally, the best halal food you can get! If you like middle eastern food even a little bit, or a kid that just likes French fries, donât hesitate to order from here! The food, flavors, portion-size, and price canât be beat.
The kitchen & store was impeccably clean. The staff was very pleasant and encouraged us to customize the food any way we liked!
Our party remarked both at how incredibly reasonable the price was and how amazing the food was. My brother pointed out that when I took my first bite, my eyes literally lit up. Our party kept remarking on how good the meal was for the rest of our day.
I ordered the chicken gyro w/ fries and customized it with Tika chicken. The flavor had near uncountable amounts of flavors and was incredibly spiced, yet no ingredient or spice overpowered another. The french fries were also the perfect crispiness, that somehow only truly authentic middle eastern shops, can get them to be.
The portion size was large enough for me, that I could only eat about half and reheated the rest. So 2 meals for me, for ~$13. Absolutely nothing compares!
I canât recommend them enough; go...
Read moreThis place...OMGGGG. Where do I start. The trip began with a quick drive past, coupled with hunger pangs from hell. A nurse with a voracious appetite and a knack for amazing food... I almost missed this place, were it not for tenacity to travel the block 3xâs for the little turn, and the perfect moment, I would have missed the pot-of-gold under the Newark rainbow. Had the lamb gyro with rice. I wasnât expecting much...takes a LOT to impress me. But, lo and behold, I was soooooo wrong! I have had many, many gyros in my life, and never once have I EVER had a gyro THIS AMAZING! He told me it would be, I laughed. Now I am eating my words! This place is going to be jam packed very soon, just opened recently (thank God!), so get a taste while you can. Their food is THAT good, at least the gyros are. I will def be back for more item menus. Probably, actually, weekly. This is my new favorite place. I love this little gem! Clean, simple set up, very friendly owner, mouth watering food. WELL...
