I visit Nonna Kitchen in my last travel to Terminal C at Newark airport and because was the near my departing gate. I want it to eat pizza 🍕 so I ordered the Margarita pizza which one of the main ingredients to make it Margarita pizza was fresh basil. I also ordered beer on tap Peroni. When I got my pizza there no greens I ask the bartender ( Guatemalan descendent) ( forgot his name, sorry) this pizza supposed to have fresh basil and then he says they didn’t have it. I say they should tell me if I want the pizza without 1 of the main ingredients. The only correct it action was to apologize and refill my glass of beer. The pizza though was the worst I have ever tried. The beer was ok but not great. Tab beers are very rare to find because their system are not calibrated to give you great beer. Most times are flat. The server was very friendly and I highly recommend him to save the company the customers that are dissatisfied with their food. I never understand why restaurants at airports have the lowest quality of food but the highest prices in any place. I don’t mind paying but for good food. That’s why my rating is so low. I am attaching a photo of the bill. When he tried to send me the bill he couldn’t do it because the system was giving him hard time to do it and I have to get to my gate. Now a few hours later I am sitting in another airport in London Heathrow. I visited Caffe Nero where I got a gourmet sandwich Mozzarella Yomato & Pesto sauce in gluten free bread, bottle of Birra Moretti and a bag of potato chips. The difference from US food in a sit down restaurant and a caffe place in the UK are as big as the ocean I just cross. The sandwich was delicious and the servers offered me to toast it, the beer delicious and the chips as clean as they can be. I have to say US restaurants at airports have to pick up their game. Cause passengers like me will definitely not stop by Nona’s again. lastly the price difference was as big as distance I just crossed. Shame Nonna.

Stopped by Nonna’s Kitchen Bar for a quick breakfast just before 6:00 AM, and I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike other spots in the terminal that either weren’t ready or didn’t have a chef yet, Nonna’s Kitchen was up and running early. No delays, no excuses — just service. The place is clean, conveniently located near the gates, and the staff moved fast. Coffee was served almost immediately, with free refills — a big plus for early travelers. My breakfast ("build your own omelet") was ready in about 5 minutes. The eggs were cooked well, and it came with a fresh side salad dressed in a light lime vinaigrette — simple, fresh, and satisfying. I had checked the reviews beforehand and noticed they weren’t particularly high, but my experience was different. Maybe it was because it was early in the morning and the team was fresh on their shift, but I really did get my food fast. Quick, clean, and efficient — exactly what I needed to start a travel day right. Recommended for anyone catching an early flight out of Terminal C.

Save your self some money and do not go here. First off they do not have servers in the sense of a regular restaurant, you seat yourself, use a QR code to order and you are asked to tip before you get your food. I paid $75 for a burger and a pizza….which was not the problem. The issues was I ordered a bacon cheese burger rare and the wife ordered a margarita pizza. When the food came out it was cold, the burger was well done, the bacon was hard and over cooked, and when I say cold I am not talking room temperature I am talking it was cold. I did talk to a server about it but all she could do is go get the manager, which we could not wait for because we had to catch a plane. I have been writing reviews for a while and do not like writing reviews like this but this had to be said. This is my second bad experience eating at the Newark airport in a years time but this was just too much!

I try to check Google, yelp, etc. before eating somewhere; but in this case didn't, much to my regret. I thought well so far of this Newark Terminal C "Farm to Terminal" concept and had eaten at other places in the terminal (all overpriced) but this was terrible. I had gone to work and then had a flight, so had not eaten in 8 hours so I was frankly desperate for some food. It was an odd hour and not too busy so I sat down and then it began, in brief. Terrible food and overpriced, the bread was old and dry, the meatballs beyond mediocre and for an Italian meatball wannabe situation the biggest sin, maybe just my case, absolutely no sauce, unmelted cold cheese and cold food Ordered a coffee, it never came Outlet was banged up (how is this possible), the outlet facing the iPad type device The "waiter" if I can call him that tried to be friendly but never showed up, never asked anything, except to put the awful food in my face Spent over $20 for basically an awful meatball sub and a coke, the coffee never came so just got had for that Please save yourself from eating at this place. Frankly I'm getting a bit tired of around $20+ becoming common for one sandwich and a soda especially for...

I honestly never leave reviews and this one might not matter since this business has an extremely poor rating anyway but plainly said they SUCK.

Workers are selective with who they speak to/ acknowledge. It seemed like they either ignored you or only acknowledged tables with only women sitting which screams creepy and completely unprofessional. My family and I sat there while workers passed us by for about 20 min - not even bringing cups over in case we wanted to help ourselves to the water they offer on the table. Like bffr

The food was mediocre at best and the steak ordered was rare despite the desired cook was medium. The pancakes were gummy and I believe are frozen beforehand. Each plate was about $20-$25. We spent roughly $120 for crappiness - all around. Money is only an issue when the service and food doesn’t align.

I’m mostly leaving this review because I wonder why do people have this type of attitude and behavior? Why do business’ let themselves go? Why don’t they want to treat customers the way they would like to be treated when they go out with family and friends? Let’s do better and clean the customer service up. It cost you nothing to handle everyone...
