Very disappointed in this place. I placed an order and went over it with the man twice to make sure he got my order correct. I ordered the special tripe and beef ribs. I live in Union so it takes 20 -25 minutes to get there. I come home and one of the order was incorrect. Anyway, the tribe was very disappointing. It was mostly beans and very little tripe. I practically threw it all out. It was disappointing how little they give you and fill the rest with beans. If I wanted all beans I would have ordered a side of beans. Will not be eating there anytime soon.

I haven't ordered from here in a couple of years because the last time I did they got my order wrong and the food wasn't that great. It used to be great when they had an older Portuguese lady doing all the cooking. Now it looks like they have non-Portuguese people cooking and it explains why the food isn't that great there anymore. I had gone there yesterday (April 25, 2021) and ordered the mixed picadinho with cubed potatoes. The girl who answered hardly spoke English so I spoke to her in Portuguese and she was not aware that picadinho comes with cubed potatoes. Anyway, after getting a couple people on the phone who finally said "okay will add the cubed potatoes." I was hesitant to order there again since I got not so good food in the last couple of years but my husband insisted we try since their prices were a little cheaper than other good Portuguese restaurants (you get what you pay for). We had a dinner party and all my friends were going to be trying picadinho for the first time and I was so disappointed with the food and embarrassed. First of all, the picadinho had a weird taste. It was very lemony. Who puts lemon in Picadinho?? It had not flavoring except for lemon tasting. They didn't use fresh potatoes. It was leftover potatoes that were soggy. The meat was mushy and hard and lots of fat. I was embarrassed since I bragged to friends how great Picadinho is. We also ordered a side of fried calamari, which was just frozen rings they must have gotten from a store and it had no flavor and was bland and hard. We also ordered a side of shrimp and chorizo that was disgusting and oily. I have to say I was so disappointed. They have all new owners and no actual Portuguese people working there. Nothing against Spanish people but that's the new owners and workers there. I will never order from there again and will definitely not recommend this place. First off, my coworkers and I were deciding where to order food from and I was craving ribs so one of them pointed out they tried to order from picnic but the last time they werenât doing any deliveries because their driver called out.. doesnât make much sense as to how you would go a whole day without doing any deliveries. Never the less one of us did order last night and he never asked for an ETA but I questioned when it had been an hour already and no food.. I told him to call to see where his food was.. turned out that it was NEVER SENT OUT FOR DELIVERY. Okay, they said it would take about 15 minutes to get there after they sent it out. Sorry, but it took a whole other hour! He placed his order and that was the service he got. I didnât want to order from this place anymore because I wasnât willing to risk the same experience hungrily waiting for food for 2 hours. But the food smelled good and I wanted ribs so I sadly decided to place MY OWN order. I made sure to ask for an ETA because I was not ready to wait 2 hours for food, they gave me 45 minutes. Thatâs fine. My coworker even started joking saying theyâre gonna do the same thing to you and I gave it a 15 minute grace period, totaling an hour. Once it hit the 1hr mark I called to ask where my food was... lo and behold... my food, after an entire hour, was never sent out for delivery. The representative in the phone asked if I wanted a REFUND or I would wait 15- 30 min for the food. Seriously? You make me wait an hour just to tell me my food was never on the way and offer to REFUND IT?? I just wanted my food so I said to just deliver it. I asked why is it that the EXACT same thing happened to me and my coworker? Because why would that make any sense that they forgot to send two deliveries out in the same Iâd say.. 3 hour time frame. They had no clue, terrible. I wait the half hour which turns into an hour. I had to even leave the site of my work for work reasons to come back in about 15 minutes. And this was already 2 hours into the wait for my food. When I came back I just asked if my food came, jokingly they said no and I believed it because this terrible service had a repeat in the same day! But they told me I did get it. The point is. Iâm sure they lied and arenât up to any kind of standard when it comes to getting orders done and delivered. Let clarify that this review is NOT PERSONAL, automatically you think it's PERSONAL cause my mom worked there and some my friends work there? No its NOT PERSONAL i dont care who worked there and who works there till this day. I got there on a DAILY BASES as CUSTOMER and like i said i wasn't sastified that its the 4th time i place an order, im here waitting two hours for my food to the point where i have to call back to find out the order was "NEVER PUT INTO YOUR SYSTEM." Exactly the words from your employees mouth if you dont like the truth I dont know what to tell you. Cause i read all your review on multiple websites and apparently im not the only one thats says they been waiting more than two hours for there food. So in that matter its not personal your employees or you is making it PERSONAL by calling my MOTHER to tell me to take the REVIEW down cause its bad for your business.
