I love the food here, i really do. it is a bit expensive as far as “fast food” goes, but it is higher quality too. inflation sucks. but my main issue is the past 5 times In A Row that my family has ate here, they are not just missing a single fry, we are missing entire meals, all our drinks, and fries on top of it all (spread across multiple orders, but fries seem to be a big one). They mentioned they are training new people which is totally valid, but it shouldnt come at the detriment of the consumer. missing stuff every once in a while is fair and reasonable, but its gotten so often that we have to spend our time, gas, and effort to not only drive back for our food, but even once they “fix” the order, we STILL have to double check their work, as they can STILL mess it up a second time. We should be paid their “service fee” that they charge now on top of their orders if we are going to be the one to have to double check their work. Constantly. Dont order here if youre getting more than 2 meals, as the chances of them forgetting stuff is high.
i do love the lobby, the food is great and served hot (unless doordash delivers it, but thats not burgervilles fault at all). The seasonal options, while spendy, are delicious. I really hope they have some severe crackdowns on double and triple checking orders before they are served to the customer, as this is super unprofessional at the price they charge for their food (which, is higher quality than fast food! but still).
Ill have to be taking a break from giving them my service at this point. I get that training people is rough and the rushes look absolutely chaotic and stressful for the workers, but its gone too far at this point, there needs to be some accountability for this. I hope that they improve, as i love their food, but its quite stressful not ever knowing if we will get the food we paid for or not and if we will need to drive all the way back to get...
Read moreWe regularly come to visit Newberg, as my wife works at the hospital. Burgerville has always been a favorite of the kids and we typically pick up lunch to have with my wife at work. We have always appreciated the quality and service typically found at Burgerville restaurants. Repeatedly we have found that to be non-existent at the Newberg location. I can’t say that we have had a single order come out correctly. It’s progressively gotten worse, and this issue is not reflective of it being busy or slow. Today I payed $65 dollars for meals for 4. We ordered two Walla Walla BBQ burgers and I will include a photo of what those came out like. I wouldn’t expect presentation in any fast food restaurant to match the pictures, but these were patties covered in slop and slapped between two buns. They were pretty horrible. I ordered two kids meals with cheeseburgers and asked for extra pickles. We got no pickles at all. I ordered a sprite for my wife and got Coke instead. I ordered several sauces to include (2) ranch, (4) spreads, and (1) BBQ. No ranch ended up making it in the bag. What we ordered was not complex, but in my experience at this specific location if you customize anything including your drink, it will come out wrong. Insult to injury comes in the form of an up front request for a tip at a fast food drive up, that I would quite honestly start giving if anyone appeared to care about what comes out of the window. Service aside, the walla walla burgers were...
Read moreI always hate having to "update" a review. But I must change my original opinion - the staff has changed - most notably the manager, Sally. This manager needs to do something where she doesn't have to interact with the public.
Burgerville "lost" my app order. I tried to show it to them, but this manager intentionally tried to make me angry by taking an approach that she didn't care and I was bothering her. She accused me of lying, trying to create a fraud to steal 4 hamburgers, even though I had the order on my screen. Her exact words: “Anyone could of made that up”.
My issue here is that I believe I was profiled by her and this is actually a case of religious discrimination. I have tried to contact the corporate office in Vancouver by phone, letter and finally with the help of the Better Business Bureau. Now I understand why Burgerville has “D-“ rating with the BBB, they failed to respond at all.
It's too bad – Burgerville is a northwest icon that I have gone to since I moved here in 2001. Most locations don’t act like this. It is my opinion that this manager, Sally, is a bigot, and that it seems the corporate management either doesn’t care, or more scarry, may actually support her bigotry. I’ve attached a picture of my phone and the screen Sally accused...
