This little bit of heaven located in front of the Pawn Shop is simply a local a gem that stands alone for the food they turn out. The menu is big enough, diverse enough and interesting enough to pique anyone's interest and ultimately please everyone's pallet. The fish tacos and the fish burritos are the best I've ever had... period. Better than anything I've had in Rosarito Beach, Ensenada or Cabo. Heck, for that matter, I lived in Half Moon Bay, CA for 15 yrs where fresh seafood and Mexican dishes go hand in hand and never had fish tacos or fish burritos this good. I believe the fish they use is Rock Cod and it is always incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly. Tender, flakey, slightly sweet and encased in a light tempura-like batter; fantastico! Ive had their Cuban sandwich as well and attest that it can go toe-to-toe with anything you can find in South Miami or anywhere in the Keys. I absolutely love Dos Mundos! The food is so amazing 100% of the time. I’ve never gone to the food cart and left without being so happy and full. They have phenomenal service and very short wait times. My favorite item on the menu is the shrimp tacos because they taste so fresh and delicious while also having a gorgeous visual appearance. Because they make both Mexican and American food you will be sure to find something that everyone loves, even while bringing a big group! It’s great because they also have dairy-free and vegetarian options. I love taking my friends here and showing them how delicious it is. Dos Mundos is a Mexican food gem located in front of a pawn shop. They have limited seating (some of which is covered) so if you plan on dining there be selective when you go. The food is cooked fresh so expect to wait a couple minutes. The good news is when you get it, it'll be hot and ready to eat. You can also order your food to go. I ordered the carne asade and carnitas tacos. Normally, I prefer carnitas but the carne asade tacos were the champions. The steak was hot and tender with a great flavor. Don't get me wrong, the carnitas tacos were great as well but there was something about the carne asade. My buddies ordered the burrito (which was enormous) and enchiladas which came with a mole sauce.
