Sadly this was a miss for me. It was my first time here and we were excited to try some yummy food! The reviews were mostly very complimentary so we were happy to find a new spot. Where we could sit outside with a fur-friend.
Reality:
To get a GF pizza the up charge for the crust was $10.00 definitely pricier than most. I decided to just go with a salad. The lettuce was fresh and of decent quality, it was in HUGE pieces and the server seemed to be manning both the inside and outside so I used my fingers to tear the salad so it was edible and since we did not see him until we were finished with our dinner. There was only about 1/3 of the lettuce that had any dressing (it was tossed and pre dressed). There were 17 of the tiniest sliver cubes of bacon that wouldn’t have even filled half of a shot glass and all 17 were at the very bottom of the salad due to the sliver size and the massive chunks of lettuce.
My little girl ordered a cheese pizza (she is a pizza fanatic) she said it tasted good but it was so burnt both top and bottom I was a little surprised she went for it. By the end of her meal her ENTIRE face and hands were black due to the burnt black crust. She is not a particularly messy eater…so that was interesting. I also asked if they could make her pizza half cheese and half something else and they do not allow this due to the extra time it wpd take.
Service: the server was nice, not seeing him the duration of the meal was disappointing considering we were 1 of three customers but we were the only people sitting outside and he seemed to be manning both dining areas.
Sadly the experience was just overall very...

The food is good, and for a decent price. Perhaps the best pizza in town. The decor is very homey, fostering a cozy feel that goes well with the Italian comfort food they serve.
The server was excellent, she got our food out on time and was extremely cordial. I didn't see any other servers other times I came here, so she definitely deserves a raise, or at least some sort of recognition.
The playlist/music is also exceptional, though I may be biased. This is well and good, but unfortunately, there are two major issues that prevent this from being the perfect pizza place.
One is the parking. The measly 3 spots that they have are often not enough, causing most customers to park in the residential areas. I doubt there is any easy solution to this, but do keep this in mind.
Two, the management is shockingly unprofessional. During dinner, I could hear a very loud and abusive argument between the server and someone else in the kitchen. I was right next to the kitchen window, so I could hear everything, misogynistic expletives and all. Just repulsive. Definitely not what you want to hear during your nice dinner, and I probably won't visit this restaurant again unless I can be assured this will not be a problem going forward.
It's really too bad, this place has so much potential and some excellent food. But I can't in good conscience spend...
Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience here as a young family. From the moment our waiter saw we had little kids, his tone became cold and stand-offish. We asked for a high-chair for our toddler—he reluctantly brought out the only one they had, then refused to let us place it where a regular chair had just been, citing “space issues,” even though the high-chair took up less room.
When we inquired about gluten-free options (due to a dietary need), we were told they only had one dish, and the waiter clearly wasn’t happy we weren’t ordering drinks. The food took longer than expected (just pizza and a steak), and when our toddler started crying, the waiter actually went around apologizing to other diners for the "noise." At that point, I felt so uncomfortable that I took my child outside until the food was ready.
Hearing him continue to apologize for our presence made us feel incredibly unwelcome. We asked for everything to go and left without dining in. It’s disheartening to be treated with such hostility simply for being a family with...
