First time stopping in here since I moved to the area, and wow was I impressed! This is a top-notch shop. The selection is amazing, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the newly renovated space is sharp, and I was completely satisfied with the seafood I brought home. I selected a pound (plus) of mussels from Washington. They were some of the best I've had in recent years! So fresh and tasty! I also brought home some frozen pink Patagonian shrimp from Argentina, but haven't yet prepared them. Looking forward to that! The shop's selection of sauces, rubs and various accoutrements is well curated. I special ordered a lobster last week from Jason, he was really helpful. I told him the aweigh and how many I wanted, but I wouldn’t be able to pick up today on Saturday. He assured me it was fine and that he would get it Friday but, would hold onto until Saturday. He also told me I didn’t have to pay until I picked it up. I drive 45 minutes one way to go pick only to be told that Jason did not place the order, then they call him up and he proceeds to blame it on me saying that I never told him i wanted. So instead of saying “sorry” or taking responsibility they will blame their mess ups on you. I am never going to go back, if you guys decide to give this place a shot. Very expensive!!!!! I called about Oysters on the half shell. They were out of other Seafood that I had inquired about and they don't shuck your oysters?? Much let down as we are used to fresh seafood markets being full of fresh seafood that you can see!! And not spend your savings on buying it!! I would not recommend it, unless you have unlimited wealth, and if you call for a certain items such as scallops as I did and then went within an hour of that call only to find out that they were out of the scallops??
