I had the absolute pleasure of visiting C'est Si Bon Bakery in Newport Beach, California, and I must say it was a delightful experience that left me absolutely enchanted. From the moment I walked through the door, I was met with the warmest of welcomes, setting the stage for a memorable visit. The bakery's ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a charming French-inspired decor that transports you to a little corner of France. It's the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious pastry or a cup of coffee with friends and loved ones. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the pastries. Oh, what a treat! The sheer variety of options available is a testament to the skill and dedication of the bakers. The croissants were perfectly flaky and buttery, and the selection of macarons was a rainbow of flavors and colors. Their tarts, cakes, and bread are equally mouthwatering, and every bite reflects the exceptional quality and attention to detail that goes into their creations What truly sets C'est Si Bon Bakery apart is the outstanding customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist you in making the perfect choice from their delectable offerings. Whether you're a seasoned bakery aficionado or a first-time visitor, you'll feel valued and appreciated. C'est Si Bon Bakery also takes its commitment to quality seriously. The use of the finest ingredients is evident in every bite, and it's clear that the bakers take immense pride in their craft. It's a place where every treat is made with love and care. I would be remiss not to mention their coffee, which is a fantastic companion to the pastries. It's expertly brewed and complements the flavors of the treats perfectly. In conclusion, C'est Si Bon Bakery is an absolute gem in Newport Beach. It offers a truly authentic and delicious taste of French baking. Whether you're in the mood for a leisurely morning coffee, a sweet treat, or even a special celebration cake, this bakery delivers excellence on all fronts. I highly recommend a visit to C'est Si Bon Bakery to experience the magic of their delightful pastries and warm hospitality. It's a place that will leave you coming back for more, time...

I’ve been going there for 12 years recently I experienced one of the workers not being very friendly. All the girls are super sweet. They smile they say thank you. They’re happy girls but recently when I was helped by one girl the last three times she is always unhappy. She doesn’t say hello. She doesn’t say thank you she is not happy. I feel like she doesn’t wanna be there. another girl who works there and I talked to her and complained about it. She has brown hair and bangs. She turned around and attacked me and said that it was OK that in a business people don’t always say please thank you hello and she defended her. She made it seem like it was my fault now that I was wanting to have good service, the service I received was horrible and after making a complaint, I was attacked by a young girl who doesn’t know anything about life yet. I don’t understand how it’s OK not to treat customers with respect and kindness. What has happened to this world? These girls that were rude, will not advance in life with that attitude. It’s very sad that one. Your parents didn’t bring you up to be polite and two that you still...

C’est Si Bon is a pretty good bakery, and the line is always out the door because it’s so darn cheap. Where else can you get a croissant for <$3? But don’t expect an elevated, authentic French bakery experience. You do get what you pay for. Unfortunately, the low cost is reflected in the quality of some of their items. Some are good for the price, others aren’t worth having even if they’re cheap. WORTH HAVING: -sandwiches (flavorful and great bread) -croissants (not amazing, but decent for the price) -chocolate truffles (so rich and yummy) -baguettes (tasty and served warm) -coffee (decent cup of joe and piping hot) SKIPS: -cinnamon rolls (dry and not great flavor) -brownies (taste cakey, not fudgy like a brownie should) -muffins (they don’t look appetizing, because they aren’t) I haven’t tried their cakes or tarts yet but will give those a shot next! Overall I think it’s worth standing in line for some pretty affordable delights, but just know it’s hit or miss.

Vibe: five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stuff: five stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price: four and half starsââââđŸ’« Pastry quality: two and half starsââđŸ’« Pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) : they use chocolate chips instead of real chocolate for chocolate croissants. And they put way too much chocolate chips. It is a sign for not a good chocolate croissant. Both Pain au Chocolat and Croissant have no egg wash (or they might dilute the egg) , you won't get the fresh crispy outside of croissant you should get from any of the real french croissants. Croissant qualities equal to the ones from Costco. Baguette, equals to Lee Sandwiches. I agree with some of the previous reviews, that is grocery store quality in France. Not really a bakery quality. However, if you are not a picky eater and want to get a quick casual beautiful brunch. I would say nothing wrong with coming here. They have a really beautiful courtyard. And their prices are not that bad for being in an expensive neighborhood.

Originally a customer decades ago. Lunch was frequently turkey on a baguette with a slice of raspberry Kiss of Death cake. I moved away and have no idea when Bruno stopped selling the raspberry version by the slice. IMO, it's SO much better than the mocha version. Though that one's pretty decent. I planned a recent trip around buying a whole raspberry cake and taking home via car trip. Nearly 7 hours in an insulated bag with blue ice packs. Happy to report it made the trip fine though I won't attempt it in the summertime. The cake definitely did not disappoint! Try it, you'll like it. Please lobby Bruno to bring it back by the slice. I'd buy a slice every visit because buying a whole cake isn't practical and 7 hour drive, each way, isn't fun. In other regards: the employees are always great though getting someone to pick up the phone isn't easy. The sandwiches are tasty and a great value as are the baguettes and pastries.
