This cafe hit #23 on Yelp’s Top 100 in the Nation! I was in the area, and I had to stop by to try their coffee & açaí bowls.
Parking: Free 2 hour street parking. Finding a spot can be difficult since it’s very busy. We got lucky with neighborhood parking.
Ambiance/Environment: I love the brightness of this location. Very clean & modern inside. They have a small indoor space with a couple indoor seating and few outdoor seating.
Service: We didn’t catch everyone’s names, but all the team members were nice, quick, & efficient! Special shout out to Sarah who helped us with our options! Her hospitality is above & beyond exceptional.
Drinks & Açaí:
Dubai Chocolate Cold Brew - I’ve seen this everywhere on socials, so I had to give it a try. Wow .. this definitely lived up to the hype. I’m not a pistachio person, but this had the perfect amount that’s not too overwhelming. It balanced evenly with the chocolate.
Toffee Latte - I also saw this on socials. It looked aesthetically pleasing and tasted as amazing as it looks. This is perfect for those who love sweet lattes.
Caramel Matcha - We subbed with almond milk. The matcha wasn’t bitter and had a nice color. It was sweetened by the vanilla & caramel. Not overly sweet surprisingly.
Tres Leches Latte - This was one of their popular lattes. Now I know why! In the past, I’ve had tres leches lattes that were too heavy/overpowered with condensed milk. This was not heavy at all. The perfect sweet-not-too-sweet latte.
Strawberry Lemonade - Exactly what it sounds like. Strawberry and lemonade lol. Sooo refreshing!
Peanut Butter Bliss - I ordered this açaí bowl. Their açaí is organic topped with fresh fruits and granola. I absolutely enjoyed my bowl. The base was refreshing, and the peanut butter came through.
Chocolate Lava - My bf ordered this açaí bowl with chia pudding. Extra for add-ons. Same ingredients as the peanut butter bliss bowl but made with dark chocolate lava. The chocolate was very light.
Pricing: Average prices $$ for coffee and açaí bowls. Absolutely worth it! My bf and I...
Read moreLocated off PCH in CDM, Sunbliss can be found at the corner where Marigold Avenue intersects E. Coast Highway. There is street parking in front and along the side, and they also have a tiny lot out back that fits approximately 3-4 vehicles. We visited on a Sunday morning and it was a beautiful day to be by the beach and there was a constant flow of customers. Juan greeted us and took our order and their entire team was helpful and friendly.
The mochi donuts were mini and not entirely memorable, but it’s nice to have something to pair with your beverages. Juan informed me the Toffee Nut Latte was one of their most popular so of course I had to try it! Not only was it colorful, but it was flavorful and kept me caffeinated for most of the day. Fun Fact: the blue color is not blue spirulina but is in fact butterfly pea. My wife ordered the Dubai Chocolate Cold Brew and told me she enjoyed the chocolatey nutty flavor. Hope you enjoy getting caffeinated at Sunbliss as...
Read moreI think I may have just found my newest hidden gem of 2025! Located right on PCH in Newport Beach is the second location of Sunbliss, and they were voted as one of Yelp’s top 100 places in the nation!
They use only hand-picked ingredients like Hawaiian blends for their coffee and blue butterfly pea extract. You can definitely taste the quality.
And if my matcha isn’t hand-whisked to order then I don’t want it…which they do!
And their Toffee latte literally looks like sand, foam, and the sea with its layered coffee, milk, and butterfly pea foam with crunchy toffee bits on top!
And did I mention that the owner specifically sources their own acai directly from the Amazon?? Talk about direct-from-source!
Come check it out and let me know what you think!
Thanks for...
