This was my first visit, and I chose the restaurant based on the great reviews. The décor has a lot of warm wood tones and gives off a cozy, friendly vibe. The restaurant is divided into two sections — the front, where we sat by the windows with a nice view, and the back, which looked like it could use a little TLC with some paint touch-ups and general maintenance.

Our server was excellent (Uri) — prompt, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the Beef Hot Stone Bowl, which arrived steaming hot and full of food — definitely a generous portion, maybe even shareable. I was really looking forward to it, but while it was good, it didn’t quite reach “great.” One of the classic signatures of this dish is the crispy, slightly charred rice that forms against the sides of the bowl — mine had very little of that. The egg on top had a runny yolk, which I like, but the whites were also partially uncooked, which I don’t prefer.

Overall, the flavors were a bit bland until I added some of the flavorful hot sauce they brought to the table, along with a splash of soy sauce — that made a big difference.

In the end, it was a good meal and a pleasant experience, though my expectations were a little higher than what was delivered. The menu has a huge variety — hot bowls, ramen, sushi, and more — maybe too much going on. Still, I’d say it was worth the visit, and I’d consider coming back to try something...

My wife and I had a great experience here! The friendliness of their team was so appreciated. We brought our 7 month old baby girl and she’s a bit of a rascal. During our visit she got a hold of not one, but two glasses of water and proceeded to push them over with the might of a WWE wrestler. Water and ice went everywhere. The team was super understanding, laughed it off, and quickly came and cleaned up the mess - we never felt judged. The food was fantastic as well, we got the KY and Cincy rolls and they were fantastic - we also got the “put your hands” deep fried roll which was heavenly, and heavenly (without the “enl” haha) but we ate it all! The atmosphere was great and as we all know great service is hard to find and I can honestly say they were too tier. They were so friendly and hospitable and checked on our table the perfect amount. So main takeaways, I highly recommend, but if you have a 7 month old, keep your water glasses far out...

This place is EXACTLY what Monmouth street needed! We live a couple blocks away and have been several times and it has always been good. The real stars here IMO are the hot stone plus bowls. The sushi is very good and so is the chicken katsu. The servings are generous. I usually leave with leftovers and heat them up for lunch the next day.

Honestly the ramen is just decent. It's Korean ramen so I think it's a little different than the Zundo that I am used to? It's not bad by any means but I did end up feeling like something was missing that I couldn't pin down.

Overall this is a really good Korean spot with sushi at great prices. It is not super elevated dining like Zundo or Kanji across the river but I would not want it to be. I spend literally half the money here than the OTR competition. The value is unbeatable. This spot has become our "I have no idea what to do for dinner" staple and I do not plan on changing that...

Stopped in midday for lunch since I was in the area. We got a couple sushi rolls and 2 of the bento boxes. Everything came out pretty fast and service was friendly. The restaurant is big with lots of seating and a full bar. We ordered the UK Wildcat and Serpentine rolls with some nigiris. For the bento boxes, we got one with galbi beef and the other with spicy pork. The bentos came with rice, salad, kimchi and a friend dumpling in sauce. We were stuffed leaving!! Deff would come back to try their other menu items. They give candy to everyone when you leave and I thought that was cute!
