Dear Glenn Blakely, The Manager Danielle’s response was disappointing. Please read. I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to your restaurant on June 19th, 2025. Unfortunately, both the food and the service fell short of expectations, and I believe it's important to bring these matters to your attention. To begin with, the food was not of the quality I anticipated. We ordered two platters of JERK CHICKEN & CAULI FRIED RICE, and it was just not edible. I tried to eat it, but I just could not. I woke up the next morning extremely sick to my stomach. The BONELESS WINGS that my grandson ordered were undercooked. They were incredibly soft and almost kind of like looked like wontons and not edible. The PAN SEARED SALMON was not tasty and did not have good order as well. This was especially disappointing given that it was a special occasion for my grandson, and I've never had a bad experience at your restaurant in the past. I have given you an exceptionally good review before. Equally troubling was the Host when she took us upstairs to be seated and prior to us arriving at the dining area she placed the silverware on the table and turned around and walked away without saying a word or before I even arrived at the table. There was a significant delay between courses, it took about 30 minutes each time before I could request anything including the check. While I understand that busy nights can present challenges, the overall lack of attention was frustrating. I value honest feedback, and I hope you take this as a sincere effort to highlight areas for improvement. Quality service and food are the foundation of any successful dining experience, and I hope steps will be taken to address these concerns for the benefit of future patrons. Additionally, I did call to speak to the manager the following day on June 20th. The Manager Danielle was incredibly rude and dismissive when I politely raised a concern about my experience. Instead of addressing the issue, she seemed annoyed and uninterested in helping. I told her that I did not intend for her to feel defensive. I was just sharing my experience. She had a lack of empathy and hung the phone up on me. I was not rude, I was very polite, there was no reason for her to talk to me the way she did and kept interrupting me, then hung up the phone. I come from a line of work where customer service is essential and it's valued. I did not feel that way. I have been a patron for 5 years.
Sadly Disappointed Customer. Candy...

The staff is friendly and attentive, always happy to recommend a beer or dish that will suit your taste.
One of the highlights of Isaac Newton's is the great selection of beers. They have a wide variety of options on tap, including local brews and international favorites. The bartenders are knowledgeable and can help you find the perfect beer to pair with your meal. I particularly enjoyed the IPA's and stouts they had on offer which were delicious and had a great selection of flavors.
The food at Isaac Newton's is absolutely amazing. The menu is diverse and offers something for everyone. My personal favorite dish is the buffalo cauliflower. It is a unique and delicious appetizer that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The buffalo sauce is tangy and has a perfect amount of heat, making it the perfect starter for any meal. The cauliflower was so well cooked and the sauce was so delicious that it was hard to stop eating it.
The entrees at Isaac Newton's are also top-notch. The burgers are juicy and cooked to perfection, and the steak is cooked to order and always comes out delicious. The fish and chips were crispy and flaky, and the fries were cooked to a golden brown. The portions were generous and left me feeling satisfied.
In addition to the food, the service at Isaac Newton's is top-notch. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. They are always willing to make recommendations and help you find the perfect dish to suit your taste.
Overall, I highly recommend Isaac Newton's Bar & Restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the beer selection is fantastic, and the food is absolutely amazing. The buffalo cauliflower is a must-try, and the friendly and attentive service makes it the perfect spot for a night out. I give Isaac Newton's a 5-star rating and I would definitely return to...
Read moreVery disappointed with this experience. My wife and I arrived at around 9. Our waitress Leanna W. took an incredibly long time to come to our table after someone else very kindly took our drink order. When she did arrive, she seemed visibly annoyed and just dropped the drinks off on the table without fully acknowledging us.
Our food came very quickly after we ordered and was delicious (kudos to the kitchen and the only reason I gave Isaac Newton's two stars).
However, Leanna did not check back on us at ALL until 10 pm (about a half-hour after we received our food). By that time, we were finished and I was ready to order one more beer and my pregnant wife wanted dessert. She informed us that we couldn't order anything and the kitchen closed at 10 pm (which, as stated, was the exact time she came to "check" on us). Essentially, she was just coming back to let us know that we weren't her problem anymore, and we should go to the bar if we wanted anything else.
When we were very clearly and understandably upset and mentioned that we weren't informed of this, she passed the blame onto the host stand saying that they should have told us when the kitchen closed. This, of course, is ridiculous and it's extremely unfortunate that she was willing to throw her team under the bus for something that could only be her fault since it's mainly her responsibility as a waitress to inform guests of kitchen closing times.
She cost the restaurant more money, which we would've spent, and herself a good tip, which she would've gotten.
Having read many other reviews, it seems that peoples’ experiences vary based on the kitchen staff, the host stand, and the waitstaff. You shouldn’t have to plan your visit to an establishment based on who is working, what day it is, the phase of the moon, etc.
It has been many years since I've received service this poor at...
