Forth time trying this joint and I really want to like it. But. Puts itself out there as a burger joint with live music. Haven't heard any music so far, but they have only been open a short period of time. Came in about 5pm and told the host I'd sit at the bar. 5 teenage servers in the back of the restaurant staring at their phone as I sat as the bar waiting for service. Nothing for 5 minutes until I walked up to them asking for service. Blank stares. I went to sit back at the bar and the host walked by me, "can I get some service?"....sure.
Bartender (Martina) finally came out from the back. There we 6 of us sitting at the bar, with more streaming in. She said she on lunch break. Finally got a beer, and it was as expected. She then walked off, even after I said I'd get some food. No menu left. Sipped my beer, and she went in the back. Presumably to finish her....lunch. I waited.
She came back out again and immediately struck a conversation with a group of three, reminiscing old times. Others and I kept looking for an opportunity to interrupt. Finally she came over and glanced at me, and asked if I need something.đł"Yes, let's get some food". She took my order and then the order of the two at the end of the bar.
5 minutes later, she came back to me, looked at me and asked, "did I put in your order?"đ¤Three minutes later, she asked the same of the other two folks.đ¤Śââď¸
Fortunately the food came out fast. The burger ingredients were good, but overpowered the undersized brioche bun. Had to knife and fork it. Not bad, but too wet and sloppy. The onion rings were ok, but the coating was .....doughy when you bite in. I wouldn't order them again.
I once had the grouper sandwich and was underwhelmed as well. All things considered, I am not blown away with the overall experience. Staff need training on hospitality and the food needs some tweaking. If music is finally available, I may give...
Read moreFirst time there and to start we were greeted as soon as we walked in. The server came to the table pretty quickly. The food came out and I was disappointed in the onion rings they were good but it was 5 huge overly huge onion rings that were soggy and I had to use my knife and fork to eat them. They were good but just lacked appearance and like I said needed to be drained before making it to the table. My friend had to check 5 ketchup bottles until a customer said they had ketchup in their bottle...so that pre table condiment was missed. I got the lemon pepper wings which were a dry rub, I should have asked if they were wet or dry...but they were good so just an FYI. The tvs were on but I didn't see a screen showing the playoffs. No one asked if I needed a refill, I was drinking tea. (Maybe they don't offer refills) I was still ok not a big deal but misplacing my friends credit card and then asking was he sure he didn't have the card and not offering to comp the meal for the inconvenience that made us decide this is not the place for us. For at least 15 minutes his card was in the possession of a table that was not our table. It is understood that mistakes happen but as a business that type of mistake is huge. His card was sitting at a table with people that could have done anything with his card info. The check was only 35 dollars and instead of comping the meal automatically, he had to ask and was told by the manager she could only discount the meal. So it reduce it by 10 dollars. Yes the food was eaten there were no complaints about that but you literally gave his card to someone else. Like I said mistakes happen but that should have been a free meal. In the grand scheme of things giving the customer their card back should...
Read moreThis was my first time coming to this restaurant and will probably be the last. We went up to the patio area because it was beautiful outside and we were immediately approached by the server and asked âwhat do you want to drinkâ. There was no introduction or even friendliness in his tone. We asked for the drink menu excited to try some cocktails, and he immediately pointed to the QR code. We explained the QR code pulled up the menu however the drink options werenât loading. He said âoh goodâ. I asked if he could just give us a physical menu and he said there werenât any. I asked if he could give us the cocktail options and he said he didnât know them off hand. He then proceeded to rapid fire listing general bar ingredients and asked what we liked. It was overwhelming and not what I wanted. I asked if he could just bring us waters while we looked over food menu. He brought my friend a vodka sour and it was okay but definitely not what we came for. After dropping waters he asked for our appetizer order so we got the pretzel bites (which those tasted very good). Later a new server approached asking for our food order. I asked her if she would happen to have a cocktail menu and she said no, and then started to rattle off traditional bar drinks. Again, it was not helpful and they seemed more annoyed than anything. We ordered our food, and at that point the mood had been ruined. Later we received our food, and it was fine. From there, we rarely had anyone come over to our table to check on us. They only came by at the very end of our meal when all our drinks were empty and we had been waiting forever for our checks. Overall, the food was fine but the service was unfriendly, inattentive...
