I moved into this place around July, and at first, I was quite impressed. The staff was friendly, and I quickly established a good rapport with some of the housekeepers. I even stepped in to assist one of them when they were overwhelmed with room upkeep. However, that positive experience quickly soured due to serious maintenance issues, notably a leaking roof. This situation caused a lot of stress, especially concerning my children's safety. Despite my efforts, which included having a housekeeper advocate on my behalf, it took far too long for the management to address the problem. With two children, one of whom has asthma, the delay in resolving this issue was unacceptable.
Things escalated when the ceiling eventually collapsed, prompting them to finally move me to a different room. Even after relocating, I continued to face problems. The heater went out, and despite my repeated requests, it took nearly a week to fix because the maintenance staff were overwhelmed. It became obvious that their priorities did not align with the urgent needs of the residents.
The situation worsened with unnecessary conflict involving a previous general manager. I was wrongly accused of not cleaning up after my service dog and had to provide video evidence to prove otherwise. After that manager left, a new one came in, and the reports from staff about him were alarming. My own experiences confirmed those claims.
On one occasion, he was outright disrespectful to my children, who were simply on their way to meet a friend nearby. He scolded them for no reason and later tried to restrict my children and the kids I was babysitting from using the laundry room under the pretense that it was too cold. This was unreasonable, especially as I was supervising them while doing laundry in a wet and hazardous area.
When I expressed my frustrations during a phone call with my sister, he eavesdropped and confronted me aggressively. I stood firm, telling him that his threats of eviction were baseless unless he provided proper notice. In an outrageous abuse of power, he called the police and fabricated a story to bolster his authority as the general manager. Despite filing multiple complaints and raising serious issues, as of February 2024, he remains in his position. Immediate and decisive action is necessary to ensure the welfare of...
Read moreIf negative was a rating I would give negative 1,000 please please please I beg you don’t waste your money booking from this property!!!! Me & my fiancé booked and stayed at this place we were relocating from another state & it was HORRIBLE!!! It is a complete SCAM!! The general manger of the property David Dopson is very rude nasty attitude!! We also have a recording of him talking to us very nasty and rude!! Gives mutiple different prices and they charge a $20 late fee for paying after 12:00 Who charges a late fee at a hotel??? people are lined up outside the door and held on purpose to pay this fee!!! If you do the math the weekly rate you are charged is way more than what the actual price is per day definitely red flag!!! When we called and complained we were checked out of our hotel and told not to renew our booking again there are no doors on the bathrooms at all they have been completely removed!!! Roaches the room was not clean before had and there is no house keeping staff on site at all!!!! All these fees and not one housekeeper or even room cleaned no sheets replaced or anything no fresh towels or anything!!!! they are taking advantage of poor and low income people!!! Read moreZero ⭐️’s I’ve stayed in 2⭐️ hotels and motels, this place is in a nice neighborhood but a flop house. People actually live here and it shows. I only saw signs regarding parking and no pets. The office is only open 11am-7pm M-Saturday. We stayed one of a the two night stay, we checked out the next morning because the rooms were half clean (clean towels and the bed was made) However the rooms had roaches and smelled liked smoke and stale( I booked two rooms and both were infested and smelled like smoke) We arrived late, so there was no option to cancel without losing money on the first night. We went to Walmart for bug spray and more disinfectant just to get thru the night. Returned our luggage to our vehicle to avoid and small brown hitchhikers. The next morning shortly after 11am is when I called to acknowledge we checked out and to see if I need to physically come back to the office. The clerk on duty told us no need to return and that we would not be refunded for the second night. I contacted their corporate relations and the manager made it seem like they were there after 7pm if we wanted to leave and as if they would have canceled the reservation the same night. However this is not the truth. I selected this place because it was advertised as having a fully equipped kitchen, we didn’t use the kitchen because it was infested and not clean, nor were there and pots, pans nor utensils. This was a family vacation and luckily, we all have a sense of humor instead of violence. Pay the extra $20-$30 and book a nicer hotel in another area and not with Red...
