Summer concerts at Thrasher Park are always great! The park is nice and clean and has a nice area to view the stage. It also has a nice dance area in front of the stage that is typically filled with people dancing and having fun. They do allow you to bring alcoholic beverages from outside which some communities do not. They typically have a local Craft brewery on site selling their beer. You have to get there early if you want to get a prime shady spot. It's not unusual for people to set up their blankets and chairs hours beforehand and return later at concert time. You only need to do that if you are looking for the prime spot. There's plenty of seating. They have limited concessions so we always either pack a picnic or bring fast food in from outside Parking can be a little tough but we have found a lot near the police station that typically has spots available. The park has public restrooms on site and it has a covered pavilion with picnic tables and a playground for the kids. The park is practically in the middle of downtown Norcross where you can find many nice restaurants and bars to enjoy before or after the...

This park is an ice cold drink of lemonade on a hot day. We walked over from the Lillian Webb park and were immediately greeted by the shady trees and cool breeze. It was so nice that we took time to sit on one of the bench swings to just relax and take it all in. This park has a great cushioned play area for the kids and unique structures. This equipment appeared to be relatively new and it was very sturdy. Oh yeah, this is the equipment that I would sneak and play on when no one is looking. It was the bomb and immediately brought back fond memories of my days on the playground.
This park also has picnic areas with grills and a nice covered pavilion that houses the bathrooms. There are plenty of seated areas to just relax and enjoy the outdoors. I appreciate the trash receptacles that are located throughout the park for visitor's convenience and of course that awesome...
Read moreI've been going to this park for as long as I can remember and it's always been a great experience for me and my family. The parking is great and there's even handicapped parking. It's wheelchair accessible so you can bring your loved ones and even special needs children to play. There is a swing for special needs children with a harness so you are reassured they don't fall. I love that they have public restrooms but I do feel they close a bit early. It just depends on when you go. There's also a stage where they have events on occasion. You can rent it for venues and things like that. There's also a few pavilions you can use as well. The playground is pretty quant with the usual things. A swing set, a playset of slides, some monkey bars and a seesaw. There is also a smaller playground for the littler kids so they don't get scared from being so high up. I'd definitely recommend...
