We were here for the weekend and found this adorable small Resturant while walking downtown in Norfalk. We were looking for breakfast and I was expecting the food here to follow in the old Southern tradition but was pleased to find the menus trending in a contemporary direction with an entirely separate Vegan menu!!!!! Fresh and organic fare -- while still keeping with Low Country/Southern convention. I think My favorite dish at Cutta’s kitchen is, EVERYTHING! 😍😍😍 Here is what we did order: Qurlyheadkilla (from vegan menu ), Slammin Sammies, Excuse My French, It’s A Waffle Lot & shrimp and grits, which are positively unmatched for flavor!!! Do not judge! Since there were3 of us, we wanted to try everything that sounded good! Chef Erica and her staff (her mom and one more person) are the most hospitable humans. It’s a young black owned business, who is cooking the most delicious breakfast you have ever had. Rest assured, we’ll be back every time we visit from now on, but for now we’ll see you again for...
Read moreI had the pleasure of trying out Cutta’s Kitchen after googling “Breakfast Near Me” now I remember owner Erica cooking in college at NSU, Behold! However, I never had the chance of trying her food until 10/26/21, listennnnnn that strawberry cheesecake French toast entree that includes your meat of choice and eggs cooked any style was AMAZING!!!
I called before hand to see if they had mimosas but let me tell y’all something, those fresh juices make up for it, I had the Blueberry Mint Lemonade and my friend had the Strawberry Basil Lemonade. Oh and I also added on a small shrimp and grits because I mean why not and I’m greedy, I like to have ate the plate.
Did I also mention she has a pretty elaborate menu that includes vegetarian and vegan options? Yup, so if you’re health conscious about your meals, you have choices!!!
I highly highly recommend trying out Cutta’s Kitchen TODAY, Erica and her mom will be sure to take great...
Read moreOne of the best spots in Norfolk! My daughter took men which was my 1st time her 3rd. I ordered the Cuttas Skillet (home fries, bacon, peppers and onions and eggs) and when I tell you it was so good I had to call them and tell them! It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Taste like I made it and that's saying a lot. Im very picky especially when it comes to breakfast food, so needless to say I'm glad I found this spot--gives me a reason to come back to my old neighborhood! The spot is small yet quaint. There's board games you can play while waiting. The decor is cute as well I highly recommend...
