Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Norman

I want to preface this by saying I have never had Jersey Mike’s until I just tried it for the first time. I walked in, and was greeted quite kindly with enthusiasm that I enjoyed. I saw the size of the regular sandwich and the price of the giant. I didn’t want to pay for the giant, but the regular seemed small. Regardless, I bought a regular Italian Mike’s way (but with no tomato) and a chocolate chip cookie and took it home. The first bite was like walking through the gates of heaven. I could not believe the intense, delicious, and succulent flavor I got from my sandwich. It was as though my entire life has been a journey to find the perfect sandwich, and my taste buds had finally found it. Midway through the sandwich, I decide to eat the cookie, and that was the right choice. The cookie, with his multiple different chocolate chip flavors and soft yet firm texture was delicious from first bite to last. Returning to my sandwich, I was able to return to the gates of heaven and enjoy the it immensely, a smile on my face and my hunger satiated. 3/26/2025 Definitely do not recommend ordering any hot sandwich from this location. I literally had to wait a half hour for my regular size basic nothing extra sandwich. The reason is just so baffling though. I was just sitting there watching them consistently go through regular chilled sandwiches with no issues. They had so many people working behind the counter, but half of which were just standing around. While one poor kid was stuck doing the hot griddle by himself. They clearly were trying to operate in an assembly line of sorts. Like I said the chilled portion worked great. The hot sandwich side was just way less productive and needs to clearly be re thought out. There's one useless person (nothing against the actual person) in this assembly line that stands in between chilled and the cash register who literally stands there just passing sandwiches between the prep and the checkout. Like he seriously is getting paid to just stand in one spot and pass a ready sandwich from one person to the next. So moral of the story if you want a subpar hot sandwich be prepared to twirl your thumbs and waste your time people watching while being completely...

We come to this Jersey Mike’s multiple times a month. Today, I ordered my usual, a chicken big kahuna on a wrap. They told me the grill was backed up, and I’d have to wait 10 minutes. I told them that’s fine, and took a seat. I watched them make 9 more hot sandwiches for customers not in the store. When they finally made mine, I watched them put it on bread, I asked if that was mine, they confirmed it was, and I said it was supposed to be on a wrap. The kid who made it seemed annoyed, so they told him, it’s okay, just throw it on a wrap, so the kid dumped some of what was already on bread into a wrap and trashed the rest of it. They handed me the lightest thinnest wrap I have ever received. Then slyly apologized for my wait, that was supposed be the be 10 minutes but was actually 30 minutes. I wasn’t going to make them remake it, because I did not have 30 more minutes to wait, for a sandwich.
