Legacy Park — Attraction in Norman

Great atmosphere, especially at night. It's kind of iffy with regards to people being there or not. Their men's bathroom is usually clean and there are working plugs to charge your electronics with or whatever electronics you want to use if you choose to go there. At night, there's a light show on the pond. It's really lively. Sometimes you'll see wildlife swimming on yge pond and or walking about, like ducks and geese. Sometimes there are some newly hatched frogs hopping about on the sidewalks. It's a great place. But, they do need to clean the pond out more. There is trash that can be seen on the bottom of the pond floor and or Sometimes floating on top of the water. Sometimes, some lights where you sit at are out. Although there are bad things about Legacy park, I believe the good things far outweigh the bad. If you give it a try I don't believe you will be...

Very unsafe, not only the issue of the ducks dying because they were unable to get out. Our family dogs got out and fell in and were unable to get out. Luckily NPD was able to save one of my babie but poor Todd drowned. We love and miss you Todd you were the best dog we could have asked for. He should not have died, this flawed Architectural pond/fountain is a death trap. Someone needs to do something before it ends up being a child or any human.

Very lovely park to sit and relax. The fountains are very enjoyable and refreshing, it has a couple of settings that it does. One is just a steady spray and the other is where it shoots water like a cannon very high. At night it is very pretty with the colored lights. I have not been when there is a concert but the amphitheater is nice to sit on and the grass and grounds are very well maintained. My kids like to chase all the frogs at night while I play Pokemon Go. It has 2 gyms and 4 poke stops within steps...
