NEVER GIVE THIS LOCATION ANY MONEY, THIS IS THE WORST MCDONALDS IN NORMAN. I would first like to say that I know that this is McDonalds and everyone knows their food is crappy, the only time I eat it is when driving on vacation and it's the only option or when I am completely broke. I don't hold them to normal cuisine standards, but I do expect it to be two things, hot and edible. That's it, I can find food in trashcans that meet these standards that are better than this locations "food". I used to work a night job and I would go to this McDonalds during early morning hours. On numerous occasions I was told they could not serve me because the registers were down because the store had to update or some other nonsense. Normally I would understand this but I heard this excuse on many different occasions at all varying times anywhere from 1 A.M. to 4 A.M. I'm not stupid and I know that the store does not take 3 hours to update its system. On other occasions I get food that is barely warm, well warm is too generous, lets go with room temp. Just today I went up to the same store on my way home from work and got 4 burgers, when I got home I realized that they were not the burgers i ordered so i called and talked to a manager. She said that the error was my fault because i ordered wrong, but i did not because I get the same thing every time. So as a solution she told me i could come get what I originally ordered and all i would have to do is pay the difference of a dollar. So I drive back up to the store and go inside and no one is at the register, I stand there for at least 5 minutes before I was greeted. And please note that this was at 2:45 in the afternoon so it was not busy. When the manager finally came to ring up the order she asked if I had the old order with me, which i did not because she did not say to bring it with me when I talked to her on the phone. I wasn't trying to get free food, so I explained that I did not want to drive back home and then back to the store for a 3rd time wasting more money in gas then the entire order was worth. She was not willing to compromise. Even if I had brought the food back they would just throw it away. So i told them to forget it in not so nice phrasing and left. Upon returning home I threw the food away because it was cold to begin with and had also been sitting out for over and hour...
Read moreOnly giving 1 star because I cannot give 0. Stopped by on my way home because it was the only place open in bad weather. Placed my order in the drive thru. There was one person in front of me waiting for their food. Waited over 5 minutes and moved up. My order was being handed out my window before I could get there. I thought "wow, it took a minute, but I didn't have to wait twice". pulled out of the drive and started down the street. put my hand in the bag to grab a few fries(hopefully fresh) and realized that my order was wrong. I had ordered nuggets, but felt a sandwich. I turned my car around and went inside to get what I ordered. The person at the counter asked where the rest of the food was. Confused, I said I was not sure what they were talking about. I was given the wrong food and simply wanted my order (receipt in hand). They took my receipt and looked it over. Then asked again where was the other food. I explained again that I was not sure what they were talking about. They said the bag they gave me had a lot more food in it. I told them that there were a few fries missing because I ate a couple before I realized that my order was wrong, but that was it. The employees... yes plural stood there and called me a liar and refused to give me what I paid for until I produced the "missing" food. I told them I had just left 3 minutes ago, and they were welcome to look in my car if they thought I was hiding food. They explained that they did not look in cars. I replied with "but you accuse customers of stealing"? They stood there and stared at me. I asked what all was missing from the bag...... It was two cheeseburgers and a cookie. I asked how much it was, although I did not feel I should pay for their mistake I just wanted my food so I could go home. The boy behind the counter told me $3. Yes a whopping $3. When I pulled out my wallet to give them the money they threw a bag at me and told me to have a nice day. Shocked and hurt I went home to eat. When I got home there had been some additions to my order..... for flavor I am sure. Why would you ruin someones food because you made a mistake. I am contacting the corporate office and maybe the police. DO NOT...
Read moreI have always chose to drive out of the way from where I live to this McDonalds to order my food because the Mcdonalds by house ALWAYS messes up my order or the food is never fresh or hot. This particular location has messed up my order before but the quality is always better than my locayion by my house. Today, we just wanted something fast because my family and I had to go out of town aftrr dropping my daughter off at work. We pulled through Drive Thru and I told the male working Drive-Thru that I had 2 orders. I tell him my first order of Cheese burger, small fry and large Dr. Pepper. As I'm getting ready to tell him my second order he comes back and says that multiple orders have to be a minimum of $5. I asked him when did Mcdonalds change this policy and he stated he was just told a few days ago. I told him that there was no sign on the drive-thru markees or speaker that stated if ordering multiple orders, it has to be a minimum of $5 or more. So is Mcdonalds no longer customer friendly? How is this not the same thing of just someone driving up and ordering the same exact order I did? What does it really matter if two orders come from one car and its less than the $5 minimum? I would think Mcdonalds would want to make money regardless of the amount. You have alot of High School students who tend to pay for their own order instead of making just 1 order. I think this policy is ridiculous and I WILL never go back to this location again, neither will my husband or my teen daughters or her friends who are in Highschool. We will take our money elsewhere. Whoever owns this location seriously needs to reconsider some of their policies. How was two seperate orders really going to hurt your business? At that, the order being less yhan yhe $5 minimum? Frequent customers and great cusyomer service is what keeps your doors open. What is the purpose of drive-thru if your not going to actually...
