I am sad sad sad...because I lost my favorite taco place. We were going 3-5 times a week after work, but then they got someone new working the drive thru....who on our first visit, gave us back some coins on a 9 dollar and some change order, after I handed them a fifty. Believe me, if you hand someone a fifty and they give you coins, you notice...and there was even a police officer behind me in the drive thru. Crazycakes! The next day, I pulled thru and waited and waited and no one even said "hold one moment please" or anything similar....it was dead silence until after the longest time I finally said "hello," and the response was a sharp and tacky, "hold on just a minute!" I did not hold on just a minute...but I did pull out within seconds. People need not beg for fast food...you're not doing us any favors because there are plenty of food places around. I think management should watch inventory and sales closely this month. Yikes! Guess I will wait a month or two and see if they have removed the issues because I miss my taco casa...
Read moreI would have taken a picture but I forgot to do so until I had already taken two or three bites out of my burrito. This reminds me of my childhood and Duncan Oklahoma where we had a taco tico which my grandmother consistently mispronounced as taco ticko. When she had had a particularly full day she would indulge herself and please us at the same time by bringing home predominantly tacos from Taco Tico. We thought they were fine cuisine. I never told her that she didn't pronounce the name right. She loved the food and the restaurant and it didn't really matter how she pronounced the name. The important thing was the quality of the food and the pleasure is consumption brought. Thank you Taco Casa for bringing back a little tiny but quite pleasurable chunk of my childhood. If you weren't around in the 80s and you never got to eat this style of Tex Mex oh, too bad. There's a pretty good replication of the food at Taco Casa on West...
Read moreIf I could give this location more than 5 starts I would. As far as food goes it's taco casa. If you don't know, you need to know. Far superior to most any other chain stores for tacos or similar items. I'm writing this review because I ordered it off door dash and they royally screwed it up, not taco casa to be clear. Door dash. What used to be a great service to use has now turned to complete trash. I ordered at just before 7pm and now here I sit at 8:57 still hungry (hangry at this point) and still no food. I called the location and they confirmed that yes, they received the order. Yes, the prepared my food. However, a driver never came to get my order. Even after tipping $5 and paying delivery fees. The employee who answered the phone worked it out with me and I'm now getting my food. Hands down awesome service. Thank you taco casa for always standing out front and helping...
