If you're a tourist, skip down 'til you see the dotted line. Cheers!
While a cut above (some) supermarket take-n'-bake pizza, Gino's falls well short of its local competitors. The crust's texture is flaky and excellent but the flavor is very poor. The weight of their toppings veers wildly away from the realm of 'generous' to 'wild-eyed topping zealotry'; the Canadian Bacon on my pie vastly outweighed all other ingredients combined, and its mass was such that my coworker likened it to eating a 'stale sandwich packed to the bursting point with luncheon meat'.
As for the mojos, potato wedges, or whatever you fancy calling them, there's nothing positive to report. What few were cooked perfectly were little golden discs of tasty delight, but the vast majority were either overcooked or (very slightly) undercooked. They're not horrible, certainly worth eating, but I wouldn't call them good by any stretch. As an appetizer, they do their job adequately, but (like the pizza) they're overshadowed by other local offerings.

If you're in from out-of-town, you're craving a pizza, and you aren't able to mosey on over to Abby's or any of the other joints in town, Ginos is (if nothing else) worth a shot. While the pizza isn't memorable, the atmosphere is nice and it's very easy for big rigs and toy haulers to access when compared to the other pizza joints. That alone may make it a more attractive offering than other pizza parlors in the NB/CB area. It's also positioned pretty well for toy haulers in need of a resupply; Safeway, the mall, and several gas stations are all inside a mile or so of Ginos.
tl;dr - mediocre food, nice atmosphere, pricy for what you get but the location is...
Read moreGino's Pizza Inn is a quiet pizza spot not the most elaborate for atmosphere there's long table style eating with small mini bench seats that are for individuals. Overall pretty clean. Had some games to play for littles but not anything new.
Food: now was hit and miss I'd say if you like thin crust Krispy Pizza Gino's Pizza in is pretty solid it is pretty heavy-handed on the beer flavor in the crust. The pizza sandwich was decent I had the Tuscan chicken with garlic sauce. We also had the chicken Alfredo, and spaghetti with meatballs. Mother had the half sandwich and potato skins, like a JoJo but skinny like a chip. My sandwich was pretty good not the warmest sandwich. The Alfredo for some reason was heavy on a specific herb could not pinpoint it but possible sage. The spaghetti was pretty good.
Price: this was not of value in my book $80, 89 with tip. The dollars for food flavor didn't map out. I've reviewed over 30 different pizza spots in Oregon, California, Washington. In all my trips the cost to quality has never been more off. Now I'm not saying the food was terrible it's that the cost of quality was not worth the balance at the end.
Service: service was good overall, we got drinks but were not given any ice, and all the soda was flat as a pancake. I do like how they give you your own set of ranch, ketchup, parmesan, and pepper flakes.

Read moreWorst customer service I've had in the area. Waiting almost 10 minutes for someone to take our order, when the order was finally placed, we sat at our table, where the indoor temp of the building is well over 75 degrees. When our appetizer showed up, a decent tasting mozzarella stick order, it had no marinara, which costs extra and we had paid for it. Had to get up and ask for water for our children since after 10 minutes of sitting we still had nothing other than the appetizer and a beer. When we asked for water and marinara the female workers were polite and quick, one is in training. When our food finally arrived, we again had to ask for napkins and silverware, as they had not been dropped off during the first 20 minutes. Our pizza was okay. The spaghetti was NASTY. Our experience was worse than I could have ever expected for a slow Wednesday night in coos bay. The male who seemed to be the manager seemed inconvenienced every time we had to approach the counter to ask for another basic item required to eat in a restaurant with a family. If you want pizza in coos bay don't waste your $60 to feed your family here. Take your money to the REAL pizza place in coos bay, Dave's, who knows how to...
