Our dining experience at La Herradura was nothing short of exceptional. We had the pleasure of trying their * Carne Asada Special* and Sopitos Traditional Plate, both of which were a celebration of authentic Mexican flavors.
The Carne Asada Special was a masterpiece—perfectly seasoned and grilled to tender perfection, with each bite offering a tantalizing smoky essence that lingered wonderfully. Accompanied by vibrant sides that complemented the dish harmoniously, it was an absolute treat.
The Sopitos Traditional Plate stole the show with its layered textures and robust flavors. The handmade masa was light yet filling, topped with savory meat, crisp lettuce, and a flavorful drizzle that tied everything together. This plate truly showcased the kitchen's dedication to tradition and quality.
The ambiance was inviting, with a hint of rustic charm that added to the overall experience, and the staff was attentive, making us feel right at home.
If you're looking for a place that combines authentic Mexican cuisine with a touch of indulgence, this spot is one for the books. Highly...

Read moreI was a bit sceptical about going to La Herradura in spite of the great reviews. Feeling justified in that opinion because I had eaten at a few of the restaurants in Coos By which have been given fairly decent reviews to only be very disappointed.
The Tamale is fluffy which is difficult to do and very rare to come by. The enchilada and taco with juicy shredded beef is also unusually tasty. So as it turns out the food is terrific. I was pleasantly surprised. So much so that if they were in my LA neighborhood I'd consider it one of my favorites. And that is saying a lot with so many fine Mexican food restaurants in LA.
Who would have thought this far North you'd find such great Mexican food. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit and enjoy the food and the hospitality.
And the little sweet treat they give you at the end of the meal is very special and a lovely gesture which I've never experienced at any...
