Banana Republic Factory Store — Local services in North Bend

I’ve been shopping at this location for a few years, but I won’t be coming back after my experience last week. I came in to buy some work clothes, and exchange a pair of pants from a previous shopping trip that still have the security tag on them. I obviously hadn’t worn them due to the security tag, and I wanted to go a size up because I have had other banana republic pants shrink up since my last purchase. When I attempted the exchange, I was told I was outside of the return window. I could understand this logic if the item was no longer stocked, but they literally had the same item and size on the rack. There wasn’t even an apology for leaving the security tag on them preventing me from even wearing the pants without me driving 20 miles to correct their mistake. Just rude excuses of “checks and balances” from the incompetent manager who was also publicly rude to the cashier before she just walked away from me. Isn’t an exchange a “check and balance” of your inventory? Horrible...

Management maybe do some customer service coaching and check on associate well-being here. Guy working the dressing room wouldn’t look up when I came out and stood right next to him to give clothes back that didn’t work. I finally asked if should put them on one of the racks (sometimes racks are already sorted to go back so didn’t want to just throw them in the wrong spot) and he still didn’t look up or in my direction and mumbled “yup.” I only had a couple items so… guess just a bad mood today? And girl at the front was all alone at register for awhile with like 5-6...

This location isn't as friendly as Tulalip's location, but they had a lot of stock and less crowds. I went for jeans but some creepy guy kept following me around the store, and while I'm pretty sure he wasn't loss prevention, he gave off that vibe. I walked out and to the Levi's store which was better anyway as I got 2 pair of 501 jeans for $40, which I couldn't get 1 pair for $40 at BR. Thanks creepy guy, you...
