This was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had at a Chipotle — or any restaurant for that matter.
Not only was I refused basic customizations and add-ons, but when I calmly asked both the server and manager to “please respect me,” the situation escalated in a way that was completely unacceptable. An employee from the back actually threatened me and my husband, Joshua Gonzalez who claimed to be the manager did not even attempt to de.escalate the situation. He too refused to customize even at my request of paying additional and also another employee, a server Francisco Vasquez was just as unprofessional and rude , simply because I asked for an add on and to be treated with respect and decency. That kind of behavior is disturbing, unprofessional, and absolutely inexcusable at all levels and all 3 should be fired.
Chipotle claims to stand for quality service and customization, but what I experienced was the complete opposite: hostility, disrespect, and intimidation. I wasn’t rude or confrontational — I simply wanted to build my meal the way Chipotle advertises. Instead, I was shut down, talked down to, and made to feel unsafe.
I will not be returning, and am reconsidering supporting a company that allows this kind of treatment of paying customers. I strongly urge corporate to investigate this location and retrain its staff — because no one deserves to be threatened for asking for chicken on a kids quesadilla and to be treated with respect and will be filing complaint against all three...
Read moreOut of all of the Chipotle's that I have ever gone to, this is one of the worst. I vividly remember the first time I went to Chipotle. The bowl was so full that they had difficulty closing the lid. I couldn't even finish the bowl, it was so much food. Yet, as I go around the country, I find myself getting emptier and emptier bowls. I am disappointed with the direction that Chipotle is headed. I am not getting enough food. I have to remember to ask for a little more rice each time I go, otherwise I risk going hungry. Tell me, Chipotle, why do you do this? I come to your door, hungry and exhausted from a long day out, and you give me a half empty bowl? This is unacceptable. We as consumers want more food. We WILL get our money's worth. Whenever we leave Chipotle, I can still hear my children's stomachs rumbling. Do you understand? Their stomachs are not full. They are still empty, just like your sad, light burrito bowls. I am spending my money for what. Air??? In a bowl??? I demand more. We demand more. The people want more. We will bring back the original portions of food, when the cardboard bowls held enough food to feed a family of four. We...
Read moreWe ordered lunch with colleagues from Chipotle. When we went to pick our food up they suddenly asked for a confirmation number which they never did before, because they realized they gave our food order to the wrong person. Now instead of just apologizing and making our lunch orders again the manager (the one who gave away our food) said someone came up to the window and asked for the order by using my name. Mind you I am the only person with this name in the whole state of New Jersey. As the manager you try to fix the situation and find a solution but leave it up to the costumer to call costumer service and try to solve the problem and get lunch for everyone. The manager stated reason they couldn't remake the whole order was because it was a large order and they would loose profit, which is mind-blowing since he was the one that gave our food away. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Management. It is ok to make mistakes, no one is perfect, but take accountability for your mistakes and learn from them. That's what will make you a great manager, and not arguing with costumers and trying to cover up what you did. Will never be ordering from this...
