Been here about 6 times, and every single time I absolutely love it, usually I always ask for deep tissue which afterwards youāre a little sore for a few days but in a good way, or other times I ask for shiatsu, or combination and always say medium and they do just that, along with hot stones and walk on back (sometimes) but today for the first time I went a little later than my usual time which was at 6pm, I went because I have just been feeling very anxious lately and just wanted to release the tension and release the knots and let all that nervous feeling go, I decided to do the couples massage which is what I always go for, and we always tip 20$ each masseuse, or more if we have extra on us now because a few times in the past we have gone and have only had 20$ cash 10 for each and the register lady starts saying to give more tip to give more tip which is not right when thatās the only cash we had on us a few times, how about giving the masseuses atleast 30% or 40% of what the customers pay instead of insisting.. so today I asked for a medium soft massage but to release the knots, I noticed she had 20 minutes as soon as I laid down just rubbing oil⦠and I know different masseuses have different techniques so I let her do her thing, but once I see I only have 30 minutes left since I took the 60minute one, I told her that if she is too tired to let someone else do it because she wasnāt doing anything but rubbing oil on me and just petting me as if I was a dog and I told her I said medium soft but at this point just do it medium only and release the knots and get in there!! And she said no need to change person because she will do it harder, which she didnāt And she just continued to just rub the oilā¦.. I feel like I spent 50$ to just get oil rubbed on me for an hour and I ended up even more stressed out than I even arrived which has NEVER happened in all the times I have been there, usually I go and they hit every spot, release every knot and really do an amazing job, even if they arenāt doing it deep they still get the spots except for today, my partner got Lisa and said she was absolutely amazing the best of all the masseuses he has had since we first started going there even though all the others have been amazing as well she was the favorite for him, and I am so upset because this was the first bad experience Iāve had there, and the cash register lady didnāt even try to understand me and said itās because the one I had didnāt speak English correctly but they do understand because the other masseuse was there and she speaks very good English and couldāve told her that I wasnāt happy with the way she was doing itā¦.trust me they know what theyāre doing. the cash register lady also said you have to tell them to do it āhard deep tissueā but that isnāt true because Iāve said medium before and they still do it correctly, the point is to feel good not feel like the massage is done with a hammer or a feather either, weāre all human and I understand if she was tired because of the time and maybe had a lot of people back to back and I am considerate but I asked her kindly if she didnāt feel like doing it to get me someone else because sheās just putting oil all over without massaging and I really needed this massage to be good, and they couldāve also been more considerate about that. They are also charging about 7$ just to pay with your card, and donāt even have the courtesy to atleast tell you just in case you wanted to pay cash instead, so carry cash! Wonāt be going over there unless itās a way earlier time and will be picking a different person and hopefully Iāll be making a better review...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFINAL UPDATE: Iām sorry to have to part ways with this place after 4 years of being a patron. Lisa, Hana or Helen were great if you could find them.
I revisited a few times since my last review (itās close by and I wanted to give them another chance). Quality was inconsistent but it ranged from excellent to fine; no one ever touched the spine again so they may have read my initial review. Then last week (3/28/24) I got the worst massage in my whole life and I decided it would be the last time.
From the start the masseuse was rough; I felt like laundry being pummeled against a river stone. I love a deep tissue massage but this was not that. I donāt know if she was angry or something but it sure felt like she was taking something out on me. I stopped her and asked to go medium, she did but it wasnāt much better, the pressure eased but she would do an initial push each time in an unpleasant way (not firmly placing the hands on the area but rather hitting it a little each time); even on the rare occasions she didnāt do that, she would exert pressure in the wrong places in a way that was painful rather than relaxing; it was more like being roughly rubbed-down and pummeled than massaged; I wondered if she had never given anyone a massage. I walked in with just sciatica and walked out with an old shoulder blade injury reactivated when I got up; 2 days later Iām still sore (and not in a good way; my shoulder still hurts). Whole body massage barely include the feet or front of the legs; even the scalp massage was painful, face was the only pleasant bit. I got home and my partner gave me a better shoulder massage than this.

INITIAL: I hesitated to write this review because my partner and I have been loyal customers for a couple years since we moved to this area and we love this place, everyone is always nice and the service is great.
Today is the first time I feel disappointed (4/26/23) I went for the first time in a while and staff seems to be different. The lady who is usually at the front wasn't there; whoever was is nice and accommodating and so was the therapist that helped me but that's as much as I can say.
I didn't know the therapist that worked on me this time. Pressure was good (I asked for medium) but she seemed to apply uneven pressure, favoring the left side of the back. She also worked the left side far more than the right even after repeatedly asking her to work on the right side, where I had knots (she would work there for a minute and then go back to the left side, where knots weren't so bad). When I kept asking she repeatedly pressed too close to the spine (BIG NO-NO) instead of near/around the shoulder blade where the knots were.
She spent so long on this, she barely had any time on the legs (only the back of them, didn't even touch the front), arms, forearms and hands, no time at all on the feet. I wouldn't mind this, if at least the upper back had been even in pressure and amount of work.
I tipped well because I always do and I bring it ready (over 25%) but for the first time I leave feeling I overtipped after being overcharged. I am considering a different place or at least asking for a different therapist for my next visit. I didn't want to get them in trouble so I left without saying anything and that's why I'm writing it here. I hope to update this review to the 5 stars I would usually give them on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMore like a 3.5/5 but I will round up to 4. We were in desperate need of a massage and were running errands nearby, so after a quick Yelp search, I found Oasis spa. I made an appointment ahead of time for 11 am on a Monday. I was looking for a no frills, no thrills, cheap massage place just to get all the knots out, and this fit the bill. An hour body massage is $50. There was a Yelp check-in deal for $89.99 one hour couples massage, but when I showed them, they said it was old, and they didnāt honor it. They also advertise several different types of massages (ie. Swedish, deep tissue, Shiatsu) but no one asked what type we wanted. It ended up being fine. My masseuse asked several times about the pressure just to make sure I was okay. Overall, the massage helped me relax but I probably wonāt be back, just because I donāt live that close by, and traffic can be kind of crazy in that area.
Tip - thereās a parking lot but it can get a bit cramped since there are other shops in...
