Taqueria Mexicana — Restaurant in North Bergen

I had a very bad experience with the rude staff. I went on 8/24 around 11 am I asked for an order of tacos, I asked for steak and chorizo after I asked how many tacos came in the order, the lady taking my order told me it was “$10.15”. I asked again how many tacos came in the order and she repeated “$10.15” I asked her again an again she said “$10.15”. After spelled it out for her and finally she told me 4 tacos. After I asked for a Jarritos and she asked me what size small or large. I am not Mexican I do not know the difference between the small and the large in a Mexican drink. I asked her what’s the difference she rudely told me if I had studied geometry in school and if I didn’t know the different between small and large. I explained I’m not Mexican and I don’t know the difference between their drinks after she showed me the difference I asked her for the one in her hand(mandarin orange ) she let go of the one in her hand and gave me the one next to it which was (tamarind) after that I couldn’t take the attitude and the poor service I canceled my order and left. So the food is amazing. I had the sopes and omg they were so delicious. The waitress is Colombian with a disgusting attitude. The price says $8 and they charged a different price. I was eating and she started cleaning the restroom with bleach and the smell omg was soo strong, I just couldn't finish my food.she brought out the mop she used in the restroom and put it right in front of our table, When we told her to move the mop we were in mid sentence when she said yeah and walked away with the mop. So dismissive and rude. I asked why the check had a different price than the menu and they started talking with each other about us. And before I forget I asked for a little plate and she said I'll bring it after I take your order. Like we needed the plate right away to serve my son the chips. I also tried getting her attention and it took awhile cause she was busy talking...

You are wildingg if you think this place is ANY good. DO NOT come here expecting good service AND/OR (especially) authentic Mexican food. This place is only good when you drunkenly stumble out of a nearby bar and happen to see this place is still open. Because then flavor doesn't matter and you barely notice the roaches. Otherwise, if you are (even slightly) in the right state of mind, steer clear of this restaurant. I've literally had better tacos from food carts on Bergenline Ave. Visit "Tuzito's" food truck on 42nd and B-line if you want some real tacos. He throws it down!! Only thing better than his food in the area would include a trip to Passaic. Well, you can always make a trip to Charrito's if you want somewhat "authentic" Mexican food.
