I went yesterday at 4pm because I remember it was one of my favorite places to eat from union city but I moved to North Bergen so this review is for the place in North Bergen at 73rd Street and not the one in Union city. I hated the customer service, the two women at the front gave me the worst customer service ever. They were talking with each other, I asked questions and the woman said "look at the menu there" instead of answering nicely. Then I had to wait for more than 30mns even though I only order one dish, I asked the younger lady about the food and she just looked at me all bored and uninterested. She went inside to look for my food like 5 mins later, it was so cold I bet she could have given me my food at least 10 mins before I asked for it. I got no sauce, and she didn't offer me any sauce. There were no utensils and napkins (it was to go). Horrible customer service. It's not like this at the teri teri in Union city, over there I'm welcomed with a smile and they answer nicely to my questions, and give me my food hot and quickly and they put sauces, utensils and napkins inside without me asking them. Management at 73rd Street needs training. The two girls just talk with each other and offer disgusting customer service. The food was cold and tasted bland probably because it had no sauce and it was cold too. I will have to travel to union city and avoid this one in North Bergen...
Read moreSteer clear of this place. You can get much better sushi and service 3 blocks away at Asian Fusion Grill. I've ordered from this place 3 times in the last 6 months and I always pick up my order. Sadly, it is ALWAYS incomplete, incorrect, or both. Today, they forgot soy sauce, chopsticks, and the miso soup. I paid extra for the soup and soy sauce, but they refused to refund me because I checked my order 3 minutes after leaving the store. So they basically accused me of trying to grift a 2 dollar soup and chopsticks, rather than just admit they made a mistake. It's pretty ballsy to demand an 18% tip on a pick-up order in the first place, only to be dismissed if your order wasn't correct or MIA. When I got home, the sushi was very warm and smelly. I just threw it out. FY, good sushi doesn't have an unpleasant odor. This did. I did't want to risk food poisoning, so in the garbage went my 27 bucks( including tip, invisible soup, no condiments, or utensils). I guess it's better than a possible hospital stay that could have cost me thousands. I've given this spot 3 chances, and it got worse every time. 3 strikes your out Teri Teri. I will never go again. Sorry,...
Read moreI dont know who manages this place or if the owner reads these but the lady working today had such an attitude for no reason. Super dismissive when I was ordering my food to go. Then when it finally comes out I asked if I could put some sauce on it before I head out she just said "No" with such a mean attitude. And put it in the bag with no explanation. I said can I get a little extra sauce and he gave me a price but I didn't have cash on me just card but there is a minimum of $8. So I said if I stay here and eat can I use the sauce since she previously stated that the bottles were dine in only. She again... very angrily said " No you already said to go " and closed my bag. I finally asked if I could at least get one of the small sauces and she begrudgingly gave it to me. She needs some serious hospitality training or needs to be put anywhere where she doesn't deal with customers. Ive been coming here for the last 10ish years and honestly don't think ill go back unless I see some change. This isn't the first complaint ive seen on here about her either. Management...
