Visiting family again in Northern NJ, I took my niece and nephew out for a quick lunch. So I pulled into a plaza in North Bergen, NJ that I've been to before, but typically head there for Five Guys Burger & Fries (see my review), but my niece and nephew both wanted Wendy's so I headed for their drive thru instead. Once there though, I forgot to order a Frostee for my nephew at the drive thru kiosk, so expecting an eye-roll, or a dirty look from whoever I was about to encounter and ask at the pickup window to fix for me, something I expect I'd get from 'many-one' working at a fast food drive thru, but not today, not from their "Michelle"! She took it in stride, corrected my mistake with the most beautiful smile and thanked me for visiting Wendy's! I left feeling incredibly welcomed and appreciated. Wendy's should take notice of her top level service which undoubtedly was far beyond the norm for most fast food joints! I ordered the delicious chili with the red onions and extra cheese, my niece had the chicken nuggets and we got a double cheeseburger for my nephew and all of us enjoyed the meals too so in this case the restaurant knocked it out of the park! 4 stars for the products, 5 stars for Michelle! Read moreI walked in from another part of the shopping center and was not greeted, saw nobody at the front counter and while I waited for someone to come to take my order, I decided to use the restroom. Door got a combination lock with more buttons than a 60 piece suit. I noticed that an employee was filling out napkins and decided to grab a few, mostly to let him know I was there. As he looked at me grab a few napkins from his pile and walked to the register, he scowled at me and decided to complete what he was doing without even a verbal acknowledgment that I existed. I then patiently waited at counter, watching him look directly into my face as if to let me know I wasn’t welcome, then walk to register and look at me as to say “what!” With his eyes and pick up his phone and start texting. I have recived a level of disrespectful behaviour, no professionalism, and complete incompetence by a single employee. "Jose" Rushing me to order in drive thru, one worded responseses, arguing me with issues on my orders.
He demonstrates lack of care and it shows clearly he doesn't want to be there. the event that pushed me to this review. Is that, he poured my ice coffee into a small, when i requested and paid for a large. Confronting him, he repeatingly dismisses that he given me a large, and continued after showing him a empty large Wendy's ice coffee. He remains his stance; as it's obvious he doesn't want to fix his mistake.
