Pho Eateries — Restaurant in North Bethesda

I'm staying at a nearby hotel. I was so excited when I saw Pho Eatery in walking distance. So I talk my girlfriend into getting so, it's her first time eating pho. At home, I eat it at 3 different restaurants at least 3 times a week. I order a "fresh shrimp Roll" with peanut sauce. Highly disappointed, I sent it back. The roll was tough, when I bit into it is had to slightly turn my head and pull away to successfully bite off a peice. Inside was some discolored tasteless discolored lettuce, tasteless shrimp, and noodles. This is one of my favorite appetizers, I even had my girlfriend order the rolls. I had to send it back, there was nothing fresh about that roll. And that's not something I usually do. I ordered the lemongrass Chicken, which would have been good if the majority of my chicken wasn't COLD....the inside of the chicken was cold and the outside was warm. Wgich explains whybthe food came out so damn quick. I'm pretty positive the chicken is cooked prior to customers arrival add they heat it up when ordered. So, I sent it back and asked them nicely to warm it up and they returned it hot. My girl also had cold chicken. When we first came in I also ordered a bowl of beef soup (I came in hungry ordering different foods to eat and share before knowing how the food was, shame on me). So they described the soup on there menu as steak, with scallion, and onions. The meat starts uncooked and cooks in the soup, another one of my favorites at home. The broth was bland, tastless, and the meat was not of good quality. To top it off, while im eating my reheated chicken two of the workers came over to the table reaching all over the table asking if we're finished with certain dishes because "were about to close". At this point I was over it. My bill came to a few cents under $20.00. $19 and some change, sorry don't remember the exact amount. I do remember that I was charged 95 cents for some hot tea. First time I was ever charged for tea in a Vietnamese resturant, but ok. My overall experience was not good. I'm a foodie, and I definitely would not leave recommend this...

I come to this place for nice authentic Pho. Instead I am greeted by the rudest people ever. Maybe it's late, since it's 8:18PM...or maybe it's because it's not the usual employees. I don't even have a chance to walk in the door. I have not even looked at a menu and I'm being asked if it's for here or to-go. I asked for the lady to calm down and stop yelling at me so I can look at a menu. Instead of costumer service, she starts yelling again. The bald guy behind the counter decided to start yelling as well. I understand your foreign, so am I, but in this country; you can either learn respect and national morals or learn to go back to the where you came from. I will never eat here again. In fact, I recommend plenty of spots down the road. Pho95 and other are here to give you proper service. Frankly the food at Pho Eatery is not even as authentic tasting as some of its predecessors. To the owners of the company, this is who you have running your location in Rockville, MD. You should be ashamed. I bow to never come back and social media to everyone to boycott this restaurant. Oh, by the way...I was a restaurant manager for 15 years in some of the most prestigious restaurants and I am by no means a snob, but this is appalling. This place deserves to...

I love pho and would have it every day if I could but this place is not one I would recommend. I have eaten here four/five times and I have never been satisfied.

The food is not fresh, it taste like the summer rolls have been sitting for quite a while and I was very disappointed to see dirty rice paper.. it looked like someone rolled them on a dirty surface.

Today was my last meal from this place.. I will drive all the way to the one in olney from now on. The cashier messed up my to-go order today where she gave me a container with only broth with no noodles. I told her I didn't want any beef I just want the broth and noodles.

The worst part was when we called to ask what happened to our she refused to believe that she made the mistake and she was petty about it. She said if we came back to pick up the noodles they would be extra!!!!! It is 20 degrees outside and you want to make me get back in my car and drive back there and pay for what you messed up!?!?!?
