This was my first time visiting this gastrobar (a bar that also serves food) and I visited with a group of five people. For Valentine's Day weekend it was not packed, but the atmosphere was lively and inviting. We were seated quickly and I can not express how inviting and attentive the staff was. We didn't feel rushed to order and our waitress was always checking in on us at the right times. A mamager and even one of their cooks stopped in to see how we were doing. The service here really puts the place on a pedastool.
We started with two appetizers, their loaded fries and salt and pepper calamari. The bacon on the loaded fries was to die for, it was loaded with flavor without being too salty. The calamari was lightly breaded and tasty. It was served on a bed of what I believe was tiny pan fried noodles that absorbed the excess sweet and tangy sauce drizzled on the calamari and were also delicious. I ordered a single gin and tonic with lime for my drink. It was strong, but not overpowering, and served with a lime. It did seem that the gin was floating on top and needed additional stirring. As for my main course I ordered their salmon bowl and I must say the salmon was prepared perfectly. It had a lightly crusted outside with a moist and flakey interrior bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this dish.
A couple things to note, while most restaurants serve all of your food at once our waitress made sure to inform us that they function a little bit differently. Table Six serves your food as it finishes cooking so just be aware of that. I personally was ok with this, as it better assures that my plate will come out piping hot and fresh. The menu itself had a very wide selection and likely will have an item that will appeal to most individuals. That being said, it is not the cheapest place to eat out, example being my salmon entre was $19 and gin and tonic was $6.25. For the experience we got it was well worth it.
Moving on to dessert we were contemplating what to get when and decided to splurge and got both their apple crisp and waffle sticks. The cinnamon ice cream was really tasty and there were plenty of apples in the crisp. The waffle sticks are a MUST get dessert item. They're deep fried and served with three dipping sauces, peanut butter, hot fudge, and marshmallow fluff. Both desserts each were fit to share between 3-4 people, with the waffle sticks probably being adequate for all 5 of us alone.
TL:DR This was an amazing group experience with excellent food and service. Waffle sticks are a must get dessert, though expect to spend a little money when you choose to eat here. Thanks for reading my review and I...
Read moreI arrived around 1p on 9-25-25. I stood and waited for with no greeting, which is whatever, am used to waiting it's not a big deal. What I'm not used to is finally getting a server to take me to my table, just stand there and stare at me. No questions, nothing just a blank stare. I eventually stated I needed a table for 2. Still nothing but grabbed two menus and then took me to my table. I was waiting on my coworker to get there and our waiter came to my table prior to them arriving and I let them know they should be there soon, in 5-10min. Was never asked for a drink or any appetizer while I waited. Again, I'm a patient person and not a big eater so I brushed this off too even though it's unacceptable to many I've talked to that are waiters about this experience. About 10 minutes goes by, my co worker gets there. They asked them for a drink and still I wait, no drink. The waiter comes back and asks for our order and before I can finish and ask for my drink, they go to immediately to my co worker and take their order. My coworker eventually stated that I still needed a drink, no apologies or anything waiter just looked at me for answer. I kindly asked for my drink, about 25min after I was seated.
Guests shouldn't have to guide the staff or flag them down to get proper service. They shouldn't feel insecure or uncomfortable for basic service. Instead of recommending this place I will be doing the opposite. The new menu also is lackluster compared to the one that was there in 2023. I hope the owner reads this and takes action, you used to have an amazing establishment, one that was a favorite of mine and it's sad to say I'll never return. I write this not out of hate or expectation of receiving anything, I just want no one to experience what I had here. Perhaps this was a one off that can be ignored, maybe there's something more to it. Either way, I wanted to get this out there in case anyone else shared a...
Read moreI've been coming here for years and used to recommend it to everyone. However, it's slowly gone down hill, at least in my opinion. I used to be vegan and had a lot of friends with similar restrictions. I always recommended the buffalo cauliflower and the tofu tacos and everyone loved them. Table six was our go to spot to accommodate and satisfy everyone regardless of their dietary restrictions. I noticed a little over a year ago that the buffalo cauliflower portion seemed to be cut in half, despite the price staying the same (or even being raised? but i can't remember). Thought it was just a one time thing, but this became the standard every time I came back. I thought it was weird because all the other appetizers seemed to keep the same portions as before. Secondly, the tofu tacos used to be AMAZING. I would come multiple times a week just for those. Now, they introduced a new tofu taco (as shown in the picture) and took the other one of the menu. The new ones are.... interesting. It's basically just really dry fried tofu with a couple of jalapeños and slices of carrot. Dressing comes on the side. The dressings seem to be dairy based and that leaves people that are vegan or dairy-free with no option. My friend came here the other week expecting the same meal she got countless times and was extremely disappointed by her food. I thought she was exaggerating and came to try it myself and I see what she was talking about. Even with being able to use the sauces, they were not very good. It was hard to even apply the sauces to the tofu. I don't understand the thought behind the change. I was able to look past the buffalo cauliflower situation, but this has been the dealbreaker and I won't...
