While our first experience here wasn't ideal, Jon, the owner was determined to make it right. This is a family owned business that is dedicated and determined to quality and customer service. Katelynn the bartender made great recommendations, red clay cider for me and Valkyrie IPA for my husband. We started inside with some mozzarella sticks (delicious!) and then moved outside for pizza and wings. The wings had great flavor, while a bit small, they were really tasty and not wet! But the real show stopper was the pizza! We absolutely loved the pepperoni pizza with fresh NY pepperoni, and we took the bartender recommendations and tried the Smoke Pitt pizza as well. These "individual" size pizza are very generous and easy to share. Both were phenomenal. So many times you get terrible service outside but our great service was continued both in and outdoors. The cook, Chucho was so friendly and brought us our pizza, he was very knowledgeable and told us about the fresh ingredients used. He and every other person we came in contact with was concerned with aa great experience and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The abuzz avikibg made lifelong customers tonight and we can't wait to return!! We support local and we support the Buzzed Viking!

The Buzzed Viking. I can see it from my hotel window and it sounds like my kinda joint. This job has offered me the pleasure of seeing the country and exploring new places. Although I tend to frequent the faves often, new local places are taking a chance. I went in early on a Saturday mostly because I hate people. There were four other couples when I arrived and plenty of single seating at the bar. Live music was also present tonight, and she'll do well when it's gets busier. Sarah is the only one working the bar and welcoming every guest with a smile. She is doing an excellent job and deserves a raise. I asked for a stout and she didn't hesitate to pour the Midnight Special. Superb stout, more sweet than bitter. I had looked at the menu online before going, so I decided on the T-Rex pizza. All the meats as a viking would have it. I could have finished the whole pie, but I took home the last two pieces for later. They sell all kinds of gear too. Shirts, hats, mugs, koozies and more. The decor is cool, with several pieces of viking artwork. Plenty of bar seats, tables and heated outdoor section. I will come back to the Buzzed Viking. This place is... Maloy Approved

Buzzed Viking Brewing Company is a great place to go for a night out with friends or family. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And you gotta meet Sparkle. The beer selection is wide and varied, and there is something for everyone. I highly recommend the Loki’s Pilsner. A very well-balanced beer with a hint of fruity taste I could do without, but not overly intrusive. The food is also excellent, and the Jalapeño Ravioli and the Thunder Balls are particularly good. I 100% recommend Buzzed Viking Brewing Company in Concord to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a few beers and some good food. Oh yes, and we also had a great country singer accompanying our good time after a long day of travel. And as far as the few people writing negative reviews here, don’t trust them, they have ulterior motives.

My wife and I had high hopes and great expectations for this place. Unfortunately. Sorry, but this is going to be a long one. On Friday the 30th we came in for a mid afternoon (2:30ish) break. We were seated and a server named Mandy came and greeted us, gave us menus, took our drink order (for which she had to have a credit card even before turning in our order. I've never been to a place that did this) and said she'd be back in a minute. That's 2 beers. Two. After about 10 minutes another waitress came by and asked, "James?" I said yes and she set one beer on the table and walked off. (I managed to catch her attention and asked if there weren't two on our order. She said she'd check and left, never to return.) The glass wasn't nearly a full glass, being a full inch down form the rim. Mandy returned a couple of minutes later and seemed completely unaware of the beer situation. In something like three minutes she had another glass on the table. (She is personable, professional and attentive.) Next were the two appetizers..."shrooms and a giant pretzel with spicy mustard." The mushrooms came in two large clumps, obviously dropped in the oil from fully frozen. Cut one of them and the grease ran out of it and pooled on the plate. Not especially appetizing. The horeseradish sauce was good, though. We had also ordered a pretzel with spicy mustard. It was cold and the mustard turned out to be beer cheese. We brought this to the attention of yet another server who said she would see to it right away. She disappeared never to return. Mandy was flagged down and when we told her our problem she dealt with it right away. A few minutes pass, and two OTHER women came up and one of them asked how everything was. (For all we knew she could have been another customer.)When my wife told her of our plight she just said, "Well, we've only been open a month and we are really busy..." and left. Looking around, the place had four people at the bar, and only half of the tables were occupied. Busy? Not by my measure. When it came time to settle up one of the other waitresses told us she could take care of that since she had her computer pad with her. And promptly gave us someone else's bill. Thank God Mandy came by about then and straightened it out. I have run a bar in years pass and I do realize there is a "honeymoon" period while things start to click. I understand this. What I don't understand is snottiness and un-professionalism. High hopes and great expectations be damned. When you do good work a customer will go out and tell someone else. When you s**y work your customer will go and tell everyone they know. I've already started spreading the word, six people so far and counting. Too bad I couldn't leave a zero star review. WE....

Met some friends. Beer was ok. 2 in our party had hard cider and the said it was hoppy. We ordered some food. There were pretzel bites that were dry and not very tasty. The chicken wings tasted like they were frozen chicken wings like you get at the grocery store that were not even fully heated it up. The wings were fatty and no crispness whatsoever. We ordered four different kinds of pizzas and honestly they were probably the worst pizza ever ate. It was some thin flat crackery bread with stuff on it. The crackery bread was soggy on the bottom. The sauce was kind of like Ragu and there was a paucity of cheese. One was supposed to be a Smokehouse pizza with smoked chicken and ham. There were small diced pieces of stuff on it but I really could not identify what they were. They tasted like microwave pizzas. There was a jalapeno ravioli appetizer that was quite tasty. Service was mediocre at best. I won't be returning to this one. This Viking ship has sailed

In response to the owner: I cannot attest to the hoppiness but the 2 individuals who had it both said it was hoppy. My daughter out of the blue yesterday said those were the worst wings she ever had. As I stated, they seemed like the TGIF wings you buy in the grocery store and heat up. I doubt they ever saw the inside of a fryer. FYI, the WSJ had a nice recipe for crispy wings without frying about a week ago. I used that technique in the past and they were much...
