I go to hobby lobby for some of my business needs, I work as an interior decorator and event planner and when I shop I buy lots of decor and glassware items along with other small details so checking out can be quite tedious. Well to say the least..but not really, checking out at this location is always a nightmare. The cashiers are pretty rude and unprofessional and I strongly dislike doing any type of large returns or large purchases here. They treat you as if you were a pestilence and all while thats occurring im trying to be as nice as i can be even though I genuinely dont want to be there for much longer because i dont want to set them off. This has not happened just once its been multiple times and im just now making this review. I also would like to make note that I have worked for them before while i was still in high school (less than 5 years ago) and i can 100% understand their staff’s frustration because the pay is very low and the demand in the store for supplies is high especially during the fall-winter seasons. Even so, there is no excuse as to why cashiers that deal with the general public should treat people that bad, you should be angry at your management and not the paying costumers. I genuinely love hobby lobbys products and people but coming here always makes me very uncomfortable. I will no longer be shopping at this location in hopes of having a better shopping...
Read moreI have taken more than 20 pieces of art in for custom framing and always been very happy. Recently I took a canvas I purchased to have it stretched and framed. After dropping off, I was told 14 days. I called to check status on 14th day and was told it was on the table to be worked on that day. Basically it sat for 13 days and was finally worked on the 14th day it was there. I was so excited to pick it up. Brought it home and hung it and realized it had been stapled all around the outer edges. There were 27 staples visible down each side of canvas and 24 staples visible across top and bottom. Plus staples were not even aligned but zig zag with some bent and others sticking out and not flat to frame. I called to share my disappointment and was told by MOD to bring it in the next day and they would give me money back or fix it. Went in the next day and custom frame employees told me that manager thought I was stating they stapled on the front of the canvas but since it was the sides that was their standard practice and they wouldn’t be responsible for fixing...
Read moreWent to the local store to get filament. Was told earlier in the week that the truck arrived today and to come in today to check if it was restocked. Drove to the store with my arm in a sling from a torn rotator cuff. Arrived to see the shelf empty. Asked the worker standing nearby if they had any, to which they replied, “Yes, but it’s not out yet. Come back tomorrow.” I asked if I could purchase 2 rolls now, as I was already purchasing everything else I needed for my project. The response was “We have it but I don’t know where it is”, before turning around and going into the break room. Given that there were 6 people standing around doing nothing, it seems that this Hobby Lobby is not interested in assisting anyone. I put my selections back and chose not to shop there. I will be purchasing my hobby items from the local hobby store instead, as they are willing to help...
