I normally love Chick-fil-a and always expect to wait awhile on the drive thru line, but after the treatment I received tonight, there are plenty of other fast food restaurants that I would rather give my business to. I was handed out food and told the shake will be right out. There are 7-8 cars ahead of me and eventually I got up to the doorway. I’m sitting watching the chaos and just so grateful I am not one of those in there. Approximately 5 min after I arrived up to the drivethru doorway, I stopped a girl and asked if there was a reason I was handed 2 bags of hot food 18 min ago and I’m still waiting for a shake? She went back inside asking and then asked the name for the order and a manager or lead came out. He was so sarcastic and rude saying it’s how their process works. Irritated, I said, well since I still don’t have the shake and my families food is ice cold, I would like my order remade to come out with the shake. He tells me, “ I can’t remake your food, it’s still within our 30 min threshold” , so equally sarcastic I tell him this isn’t Dominos delivery, I paid for hot meals that have been sitting on my front seat for 18 min while I wait for a strawberry milkshake and they are ice cold. Totally annoyed at this point, I said I will tell you what, just take it back and give me a refund. He tells me that’s against policy and to take it up with corporate. I said, “ok, I will, what’s their contact info?” And he replies… GOOGLE IT! Now, I am beyond annoyed… so, I want his name so that I can give the info to corporate. He refused to give his name, someone else wrote a fake name on receipt paper. I immediately knew it was a fake name because I saw his name tag but didn’t make a note of it and it was a difficult longer first name. I say this to the person that handed me the paper with the fake name and he tells me his name tag is his middle name but they wrote his real name “but just use my name, Carlito”. No Carlito, you aren’t the one with the attitude, giving poor service, fake names and policies out. I watch the original guy I interacted with remove his name tag and come outside with a grin you would want to slap off his face and he says, “you have a blessed day sweetheart”. I made sure to let him know I noticed he removed his name tag and he replies, “sure did, you have yourself a blessed day!” Food was ice cold, the shake I waited over 18 min for was handed to me with liquid whipped cream. If that is the service, quality and satisfaction Chick-fil-a vows to their customers, then I am happy to support another place like...
Read moreLet me start by saying Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite restaurants, I've been a fan since childhood. Most of my experiences with this chain have been pleasant, across the board, no matter the location or state that I'm in. Which is why it saddens me that my location in my hometown has given me the worst experience .
About a week ago I came through the drive thru and upon getting my order not only was it wrong, the bagel was extremely burnt, but the girl at the window didn't even acknowledge me until I said hello to her. I had to come all the way back just to correct it, only to be received by associates who weren't the nicest. By this time I had to scarf down my order due to the fact that I had to be back at work. They didn't give me my receipt back, so I had to go all the way back JUST to get my receipt so that I could contact corporate.
After work, I came back to chick fill A (my third trip back) to get my receipt....again, no warm reception or any attempt to make me whole. Upon getting home, I attempted to contact corporate, but there was no such information on the receipt. So I called the store and was given to a manager. After giving me the run aroumd of a list of numbers (in not the nicest tone might I add) only towards the end of the call (and at my wits end) did the manager offer my next meal free.
Fast forward to today, I came in for that free meal. I was hoping that my previous bad experience here was a fluke. I am sorry to say it was not. When I got here, and asked for my free meal still no warm reception as the previous customers before me received. After I got my meal, I realized that I didn't get my favorite (chick fill a sauce) to go with my meal. I went back up and waited for about 5 mins before anyone would acknowledge my presence at the counter, even though I had just left minutes before, and there was only one customer a head of me. I stood there in front of an employee, again no acknowledgement, who said nothing to me. About 5 employees made eye contact with me as I was standing there. I wasn't given the sauce until I interrupted the cashier who decided to help the customer behind me, instead of asking me what I needed. I am so disappointed with this...
Read moreI’ll start by saying that I love Chick-fil-a and usually have a very good experience but tonight was not the case. It was getting close to closing so I counted how many cars were in the drive thru line (14 cars, to the back of the building) as compared to inside at the counter (3 people in line). I called to verify the dining room was open as some fast food restaurants will close their dining room but still serve the drive thru line. The girl that answered my question was a real smarta$$ with an attitude stating the dining room had been open for over 6 months. So I parked and went inside. 3 people in line. First guy was paying and he went to sit down waiting for his order. Next lady was a black lady, she order and was almost handed her order before the next lady in line ordered. This black lady had to bring back a salad that was made incorrectly fixed. I ordered my meal at 9:52, time on my receipt. Moved to the side and waited. The lady with the salad, had it corrected but stayed at the counter talking to a couple of the workers behind the counter. I continued to wait. Watch my order on the screen turn red. Watched the cars, 14 cars, go through the drive thru. 4 more cars, after what would have been my place in the drive thru, received their orders. And I continued to wait. Most of the workers not on drive thru were socializing, laughing and having a good ole time. I waited. Finally received my order at 10:08. Maybe if I was black, I would have received better service. And to top off this frustrating experience, when I arrived home, my sandwiches were not...
