I had come in looking for a Cricut and they did not have one in stock, the lady at the counter said I could do a “rain check” and that it would be there wensday. I said ok paid for the item got my recite and left my wife went back wensday to pick up the item and the lady at the register was extremely rude saying that we had not paid for the item even though my wife had the recite in hand, managers were called over and instead of helping were accusing her of trying to scam the store saying that “your not aloud to pay for rain checks beforehand “ how are we supposed to know this we don’t work at your store. They then asked my PREGNANT wife to stand in the corner with my toddler daughter while they got to the bottom of it. The employees were extremely rude and embarrassed my wife. I called the store manager and out of complete anger lost my mind on him. If he is ok with his employees treating customers like that I wanted him to know that, that is not ok and he should handle it. His response at first was defensive saying he didn’t like the way I was speaking to him I told him well I don’t appreciate the way my wife was spoke to and his attitude changed a little then continued to explain that he was on the phone with the customer service manager and that they would be letting the cashier go. I don’t believe that’s right considering she was probably not trained correctly. Poor store will not...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this store, not Hobby Lobby as a whole, but the specific store. I love all the great things to buy and all the sales, but I have noticed that this store is primarily of a particular color of workers. Then I had a very disappointing situation last year when the store first opened here from an older man working there telling me that if he had a son like mine he would put him on medication. My son was flapping his hands and humming to himself because of his autism. The specific definition for that is called "stimming" instead of getting all upset, I thought it would be nice to educate this man on autism. Since most people are not truly aware of all the factors. He quickly apologized. I smiled, said thank you, and left. So although I love the store and what the company stands for, I am not convinced in a total in a positive, of the management and of some of the experiences I have had there. On the up side the store is always clean. And everything is pretty easy to find. There is always a great selection and...
Read moreSome of the employees (managers included) are totaly prejudice. I noticed there was a lack of different races that work there which isnt my main concern, but Ive noticed lately I was being followed around the store, and I do shop here often, once or twice every other week or so. One fat pig stopped what she was doing to come where I was and pretended to be cleaning the aisle that was totaly fine. I already knew what I wanted but I stood there another 5 minutes just to test her because she was on the clock and couldnt stand there all day. Then she finally asked after I made it awkward if i needed help and I told her no. The second time was today not even a week later the same thing happened but this time it was a manager. I go by the paint shes behind me, I go by the clay she's behind me, I go by the paper there she is. It sucks because I really like this store but I dont think Im going to be spending my money here again...
