I honestly don't even know where to begin with this terrible experience. I placed my order around 12 pm. This order consisted of an order of fresh toast, oatmeal, breakfast potatoes and a bowl of fruit. I'm not exactly sure what was so hard for them to fulfill this order within the 30-40 minutes that they told us it would be done. My boyfriend arrived at 12:55 pm (a full 55 minutes after the hard had been placed) and the lady at the front told him that they were still working on our order. This should have been the first red flag. My boyfriend waited 20 minutes, before going back up to the counter and asking for an update on our food. The lady reassured him again that the food would be coming up soon. Another 10 minutes went by ... still no food. He went up again and they're talking about somebody must have taken the order and that they're going to remake the order. It is now 1:30 pm ...and we still don't have any food or update as to what's going on. At 1:35 pm, the lady comes up to my boyfriend and explains that she's sorry he had to wait this long. My boyfriend then asks if he can get another order of a fruit bowl, to compensate for the overly extended wait. She agreed, which didn't make the situation better, but was appreciated. We did not receive our food until 2:00 pm! May I remind you, he got there at 12:55 pm. And to make matters even worse, the manager was giving him attitude for asking where his order is. Meanwhile, while my boyfriend was waiting, the manager could find time to hehe haha at the bar with other staff .. but didn't have the decency to come over and apologize for our 2 hour wait. Honestly, at this point, our meal should've been free. I would rate this experience a -1244 out of 10 if I could. Read moreOrdered a crab salad melt online for this location. When I got there to pick it up, they told me they do not have crab and instead used tuna salad for the sandwich. I said that it was ok, I don't want tuna salad since I didn't order that, so I'll just take a refund and leave (the sandwich is $15+).
This caused major arguing with the hostess, she pulled out a menu to show they never server crab salad melts and that the online order has always been wrong for that location. I understand her frustration, but I did leave my phone number and email in the order and did not hear about it until I came to pick up the food. Her manager came to give the refund all the while she is shaking the box with the tuna salad melt in it and flipping it upside down waving her arms around about how they never sold crab salad melts.
I told them to keep the sandwich but they threw it in my bag anyways and said my refund will be through in 3 to 5 business days. This happened on 10/25/2022 during lunch time. I have yet to receive any refund.
I'm leaving this review to let anyone else who decides to order the crab salad melt from here to hopefully avoid this headache. Of course the tuna salad melt was ruined from her shaking it and flipping it around, so even if I was ok with it I still would have had a ruined sandwich.
This place reeks, and they should really fix their online menu, especially when they take payment from there too. This was a $15+ mistake I'll make sure to never make again by believing their online menu was...
Read moreIt was a first time for this place. My husband and I decided a random breakfast date was the move, so we found somewhere we hadn't been that was not too far away. It was a perfect choice. We both got the stuffed french toast, and it was so good, coupled with their warm maple syrup, and I had their freshly squeezed orange juice that was out of this world, in my opinion. Like, do they squeeze the oranges themselves each morning? I was superr impressed. Our server was friendly, but she only came to us once befor our food cam,e and when she dropped off the food, she quickly came back with the bill. Although she said no rush and the bill was just there for when we were ready, that is one of my pet peeves is the bill being brought before we request it. It almost always means the server is done with you for the most part, and she did not return until we wanted a box. What if we had needed something? This time that wasn't the case, but I didn't love that. So that is why I neglected one star from service. The atmosphere was nice however I thing need some updates like they're dated dated silverware old school. Wooden chairs that fell over anytime someone tried to put something heavy on the back like a book bag, and the floor was super sticky. So I'm not sure why. But that's what cost a star in atmosphere.
