Worst McDonald's ever. I've had repeated problems here over the last several years. Found a fly in my fries once, overcooked meat, poorly mixed shakes, awful attitudes by staff. Once a younger staff member even said "why are you here? You should go to Chick-fil-A instead. I would." Tonight takes the cake, and I will never give them my business again. 9pm. Waited in line for 25 mins in drive-thru. Line wrapped around the building. No one came to the speaker. No one took order. No sign on the order screen. No response when I repeatedly asked for help. Drove around to the window, no one there. People walking around in back. Finally pulled out of line, went inside. Manager walking out and I told him he needs to get his drivethru under control and that I had been waiting for more than 20mins. He brushed me off, no apology or empathy of any kind, simply said very shortly, "SIR! We are having a problem with the register system!". So I told him he needs to communicate that to everyone that is wrapped around the building. Put a sign on the order screen so people don't sit there and wait. He didn't respond and went huffing off into the back room. This is the worst managed McDonald's I have ever been to, and enough to not only cause them to lose my business, but the chain as a whole. Read moreI understand being short staffed, I have worked in fast food or food service industry off and on for 20 years but waiting 30 minutes to pick up a door dash order (because I have to wait in the drive thru line that's being taken one order at a time) is ridiculous. Not to mention I can see two door dash orders on the pickup shelf (that I can't get to because the lobby is closed) which means the fries are going to be cold and the frozen drinks or ice cream desserts will be melted by the time I pick them up. I tried asking the person at the window to make sure I was picking up fresh food and he refused. He said and I quote, "Once it's in the sealed bag that's what they get."
So maybe don't make the order to sit until the people picking it up are able to get to the window since your system is to make them wait in line even though the orders are ready. There has to be a better way. Or maybe close on third shift until you have proper staff.
Also, I have seen at least 3 employees leave since sitting in line that also offer no help to assist getting the food other "waiting my turn in line" for food that's already prepared and...
Read moreEXTREMELY SLOW. I went through the drive-thru finally got to the speaker to order, waited about a minute before I heard May I Take Your Order, ordered a cheeseburger that's all. Sat at the speaker because the line hadn't moved asked again May I Take Your Order...no I've already given my order...Thank You Please Pull Forward...can't there's a line in front of me...Oh Sorry, Thanks. I was asked that two more times before the line moved one car at least now I wasn't at the speaker anymore, but eleven minutes passed between after I placed an order (not counting the time it took to get to order) and reaching the window to receive my order, where I was asked..You ordered Big Mac Small Fries and Tea Right?..no a cheeseburger, just one..Oh Hang On. Minute and half later I was finally able to pull away. If you're thinking about it do yourself a favor and go nextdoor to Bojangles or within eyesight Taco Bell, Jesery Mike's, Subway or get back on the highway to the next exit either direction would be Ethan this place.
