Very rarely will I go through this Taco Bell and my order be correct. For the most part I brush it off like whatever. It’s usually minor. What do you expect from a fast food restaurant with a bunch of young kids working that don’t really know how to care yet? But tonight was the absolute worst. My kid loves the pizza (since it’s a combo Pizza Hut/taco bell). We went through the drive-thru and ordered his pizza along with everything else we were getting (including 2 orders of chips, this will be important). At the speaker, the person taking my order says “it will be about a 10 minute wait for the pizza”. I tell her that’s okay, I will wait. I finish ordering. I pull up to the window to pay and get my food. The guy gives me the food fairly quickly so I knew there was no way the pizza was in it. I check the bag and of course it isn’t. I ask him about the pizza and he looked at me like a deer in headlights. I told him I’m also supposed to have a pepperoni pizza. He tells me to pull around and they’ll bring it out to my car. I parked in a spot at the front door. I check the bag to be sure everything else is right. I’m missing a bag of chips, how sad. Waiting. Waiting. After 15 minutes go by, I could tell they forgot about me. At this point, I’m not leaving my kid in the car. I’m also not getting them out of the car. I went through the drive thru for a reason. I back out of my spot and go back to the drive thru. There’s a car at the speaker and one behind them. I think to myself, I have already made my order, I don’t need to wait for the speaker. I just need to go to the window and talk to someone. So I pull behind the car waiting at the window. They pay, get their food, and leave. I pull up to the window, the guy just looks at me and I tell him “hey, I’ve been waiting out front for 15 minutes and I still haven’t gotten my pizza”. He had no idea what I was talking about. The girl was behind him and said something. He goes “well you can’t cut people like that.” So I said “I already ordered my food. I have just been waiting for my pizza and no one brought it out.” The girl starts yelling over his shoulder how rude I am and I can’t be cutting people. I repeat to her that I did not cut as I was already there waiting for my food way before that car was even there to order”. The guy finally says “what kind of pizza is it” so I go to show him my receipt and tell him pepperoni. I also let him know I was missing an order of chips. The girl is STILL yelling at me. I tried to get her to bring her tone down and she wouldn’t. So I matched her tone. I let her know that I was not being rude as I was just trying to get my food I had been waiting at this point 20 minutes for and all I need is my pizza and my chips. She says he’s getting it. He brings a bag to the window and hands it to me. She is STILL yelling at me. I told her “I’m done. Have a good day”. And I drive off. SHE WAS STILL STICKING HER HEAD OUT THE WINDOW YELLING AT ME as I was pulling around the building to leave. I come home and immediately call to try to talk with a manager. Luckily the GM answered the phone. (Thank you Jasmine for your kindness and reassurance.) She did say she would have a conversation with the individual as this was not their first complaint. All of this is to say, I’m sad I didn’t get my chips and um yeah… am I the A-hole here? I’m off to write my novel, The forgotten chips (my villain origin story)
P.S. I want to apologize to the car behind me. I was just trying to get my food. I promise I didn’t not instigate the screaming and I apologize for you having to witness it.
P.P.S. Jasmine’s kindness bumped it up a star. Otherwise I would’ve...
Read moreTaco Bell has let us down too many times! Me and my bf boycotted Taco Bell for about 2yrs b/c 9 out of 10 times the food was subpar or something was wrong. Recently we decided to give it a go. Until we came to this location last night. It was 1 of the worst exp. We’ve ever had! The lady taking our order was short and rude to us! Cashier Joya didn’t greet us, didn’t ask if we wanted sauce, had no manners, not even a thank you or have a nice night!! She just snarled at us the whole time! She just stuck her hand out for payment slammed the window, opened it back up flung 1 drink, card and receipt out, slammed the window shut again, opened it once more to sling our bag of food out! While shutting the window again my bf politely told her we’re missing 1 drink she rolled her eyes and slammed the window once more to make our missing drink. After everything appeared to be correct we left. Still didn’t plan on complaining! We ordered 3 5layers no sour cream, 3 taco supremes no tomatoes, cheese rollup, 2 cups of cheese and 2 drinks. That totaled up to $27.05 almost $30 for a bag of garbage!! The 5layers were smothered in sour cream, the taco supremes had no sour cream and our drinks were all carbonation!!! Taco Bell’s food prices have skyrocketed, their food quality has diminished, their staff is always extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We don’t plan on returning to a Taco Bell anytime soon! I don’t recommend eating at this location or really any others near by like Burlington! If you’re going to be NASTY to your customers at least make sure their orders are correct!!!!! Cashier Joya you could’ve avoided this complaint with Basic Customer Service Skills and my order correct! I would’ve accepted cold food at this point!!! This review would’ve been -5 stars if it...
Read moreFirst- Very Happy to see that they had crispy tacos, most upstate TB's we've bn to only Falsly Advertise and sell Only Soft Tacos. So we took a chance as truckers to find out. 2nd- The Manager was hustling in a good way, to get everyone's food out, in a timely manner. He was Awesome, Very Professional running circles around 3 young men helpers. 3rd- Why I couldn't give more STARS- how I wish I could...Management had 3 other young men somewhat helping him. Granted they were understaffed, But...if management can hustle, so Can They...so Should They. Especially if management is willing to work beside you. As slow as it was that night...those young men should've been taking pride in the fact that they can run that place, no problem...I saw alot of "what do I need to do" No Independent Thinking... 4th- it was the messiest unclean work stations I've ever seen. From the trash bin under the condiments pulled out, in the middle of floor, stuffed, and just sitting there as a trip hazard. To gunked up fountain drip drain trays, to unsanitary cleaning rag left by condiments, to dirty tables and chairs, to food all over the floor behind the counter at the work station. When under staffed, it takes a strong leader to run things to keep things running decently smooth. Can't do that when your pulling everyone's weight. Management- take the time to inform your staff at the beginning of your shift what you would like them to stay on top of when there's time. As well as what their individual work duty is for the shift. But they all had Great, Friendly, ...
