Wouldn't recommend this boutique to anyone! First of all, their clothing selection isn't much more than solid colored cheaply made Zenana basics that pill after the first wear and won't last longer than a couple of washes. They do have some denim basics as well but there are very few unique, fun, statement pieces to choose from as you would expect from a small town boutique. Definitely not the place to go to if you're looking for a decent selection of cute little dresses or something to wear for a special event. 0The majority of the store inventory is incredibly generic and boring, unlike the other darling clothing boutiques we have in town. In addition, the store owner or manager,, Lauren was very vague and deceitful during a recent purchase when asked about the store return policy. We were told we could either exchange the item or would be issued a store credit if the item was returned within 7 days of purchase since we bought it as a gift. Unflrtunately it didn't work for the recipient and when we showed up with the item and original receipt to do the exchange, there was absolutely nothing else in the store we were interested in getting at that time. We requested a store credit to use at a future date, hoping for better inventory at a later date and were told we only had 7 days from original purchase to use the store credit. This was on day 6. What is the purpose of a store credit?????? We requested to speak to Lauren since she was the one who misled us. Lauren wasn't in the shop so the associate called her. She explained our situation to Lauren and Lauren was absolutely unwilling to work with us or admit how deceiving she had been. You would think a small, fairly new boutique in a small town would be willing to work with customers to come up with a reasonable solution. This was not the case. Buyers beware! I'm so sorry to have to do this, I take ratings very seriously. And I don't wanna punish the store because of an uncouth unprofessional and disturbed worker (Could be the owner I really hope not) My fiancé and I visit her at North Carolina a A few times a year, and we love the shop a little boutiques and different geographical and cultural stores. My fiancé was inquiring about a pair of shoes ends just have simple questions about anger as a gift and possibly having them shipped, And this verbally violent Woman started with the strangest ugly attitude for no reason it was like frustrated that she even had to talk to us. I don't understand if somebody doesn't like people or they don't know how to exchange discourse in a business setting, perhaps she shouldn't work anywhere where anybody would possibly interact with her. We even hurt her saying 'what an effing B&@$!' It was by far the most absurd interaction at a store in our entire lives. It was absolutely insane, Flabbergastingly shocking, Sounds like I have to state obviously extremely insulting. They don't want us to purchase anything that day and she succeed in that goal. I understand people are humans and certainly I don't want to punish the owner of the boutique because somebody's belligerent and semi-.psychotic. Her eyes were quite scary, she wouldnt give her name But I want to say it was Anne or Anna or something like that, Believe that she was even drunk or I'm pharmaceuticals or both, are that again perhaps she needed them. At any rate it was something else quite unbelievable. She's not the owner I don't have a problem rectifying this review because again I don't want to punish a small business because somebody else lacks any sense of professionalism, social decorum, or just common decency. I LOVE VI Boutique! This shop has forever changed my view of boutiques and I am HAPPY to support a local business!! The owner and stylists are always so pleasant and really do a great job of creating a lovely environment. The lit candles create a completely different world, when you walk in, you step into a clean environment that feels stress free and elegant. You can see that the owner truly cares about her space and her customers. I wanted special items and she was able to order them for me. If you’re shopping for date night or a special gift for someone you can surely find lots of different choices there, from camo to pink and polka dots.
