The Scoop — Restaurant in North Carolina

Decided to get lunch here since it was rated so highly and didn't see any complaints about the food. My husband and I ordered two loaded quesadillas (only thing special asked for was no jalapenos), an order of fries and an iced coffee. The iced coffee came out promptly, however it took 30 minutes to get the quesadillas. I wouldn't say it was really that busy and I saw people that ordered after us receiving their food, but in small bags with what I assume is a bagel of some sort.

The quesadillas and fries were hot, delicious and worth the money. The chicken in the quesadillas was also flavorful and tender. We had family ordering when we received our order and they also reported that it took about 30 minutes to get their food.

I don't know if this place does call in orders, but I would recommend going that route because there are no fans outside while you wait. There is some shade, but not a lot of moving air. You can wait in you car and they will bring it out to you, but a car sitting still while running for 30 minutes is not good for the car.

They get stars for quantity, quality of food and flavor, but lose stars for the wait, comfortablity of the customer and lack of communication (whether that be a heads up on the wait before hand or some acknowledgement of the wait...

If you're just coming here for breakfast, you're missing out. I've always come in the morning and got a bagel with cream cheese. Which is always delicious. Went and got lunch the other day with my boyfriend. I got the chicken club sandwich on an everything bagel. Was expecting a chicken breast like most places do it, but they chop the chicken into cubes, and it is way better that way! Boyfriend got the Scoop BLT on an asiago bagel. Bacon is super thick pieces, and the asiago cheese bagel was absolutely delicious. Their asiago bagel will now be my go to order. Didn't know what I was missing out on. Also, to note that the staff are awesome. My boyfriend couldn't pick which bagel he wanted his sandwich on, so he asked them to pick for him. Now, have a new favorite bagel because of it. I have also never had a bad iced coffee, which is really saying something if you drink iced coffee. Salted caramel flavor is what I usually order. Well I was not greeted with a smile ! A large menu so it took me some time to look it over so I asked the young lady at the window for some help hoping to get suggestions as to what is the popular item to order and she looked so annoyed ! This was my first time here and vacationing in this area . I asked if they could make a veggie burrito 🌯 since they serve burritos and she said nooo with an attitude , and looked back at the other worker like that just made her even more annoyed that I asked a question ! Terrible customer service. Remove her from the window before others give you more bad reviews .she had lcut sideburns and pony tail .
