Don’t you love when you come to a place to eat with your children and there’s no high chairs and the employees seem to be so inconvenienced by your presence. You order... wait for it... four hotdogs fries and chicken tenders which you are intincipating will be the most amazing four hotdogs fries and chicken tenders because it takes an hour to receive them. While our hot dogs sat being glued to the paper and the fries were being made into concrete sticks our 4 children sat patiently while people who came after us and placed their order were enjoying their meals. I've worked in the food service industry for 30+ years, so I tend to seriously critique the places I eat at. The prices here are good. The food is excellent. The burgers are HUGE. It is a family run business with only about three workers. The grill is kind of small. You're not going to get food in an instant here. They cook the food fresh and big, fresh, burgers take longer to cook. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you. Best is to call ahead and then go pick it up 20 minutes later. Mankins briefly closed in Summer 2021 which was a big loss because we really loved their burgers and fries.

They have re-opened with a fresh new look inside. The food is similar (good!), except the crinkle fries are gone.🙁
