This particular Wendy's has struggled to meet expectations for years now. -More often than not, they are out of common items (including chocolate Frosties, spicy chicken nuggets, JBC, etc). Sometimes they tell you up front, other times you have to attempt to order it before they tell you they don't have it. -The quality of the food is inconsistent: sometimes it's cold (fries/nuggets/sandwiches) or stale tasting (bread), other times it's fine. -There is often just one person working later at night taking orders and preparing food, so it takes a very long time (not their fault, definitely a staffing/management issue). -The inside is kind of gross and dilapidated. You can tell someone tried to cheer it up with flowers on the tables, which was a nice touch. However the single TV playing soap operas that skipped and lagged didn't add anything to this awkward ambiance. -Upon my most recent visit, I placed a mobile order for pickup inside. It was nowhere to be found at the mobile order station. After standing there for a while with no service, I finally asked about it and it hadn't even been started yet. The cashier knew nothing about what my order consisted of, despite being on the printed receipt, and I had to ask twice to ensure I had all of my items (it was missing the Frosty, had the wrong size of fries, and did not include the sauce I requested). The cashier was very nice but just clueless. The whole ordeal took about 20 minutes, and I could've just sat in the drive-through line and ordered on the spot in the amount of time it took to wait. Why bother with offering mobile ordering if it's not a reliable option?
Will I keep coming back? Probably, because Wendy's is my favorite fast food and this location is close to my house. Will I love it?...
Read moreI arrived at the Wendy's drive-thru this evening to buy the 4 for $4 meal and was greeted by Alaya and Amanda. I come to this location at least three times per week and recognized Alaya. I handed her my card and she processed my payment and handed it back to me with a smirk. After this, she began making my drink and Amanda walked up to her. With the window still open, Alaya said something to Amanda and Amanda laughed hysterically and looked back at me. She saw me staring right at her and she continued to laugh loudly and, while laughing and staring back, shut the window in my face. It was incredibly obvious that Alaya had said something about me or my passenger that Amanda found funny. I asked Alaya "What's so funny?" and she couldn't answer the question. Amanda heard me ask and walked up and said "That's for us to know" and handed me my food. She then said with heavy sarcasm "have a nice day!" and shut the window. I knocked on the window and asked for her name (because she didn't have a nametag). Amanda said "Why do you want to know my name? You gonna snitch on me?" Sorry Amanda, people don't say that unless they know they've done something wrong! This is not a case of me being paranoid - these two girls were very clearly making fun of either me or my passenger and the side-ways glances, sarcastic tone, and dead-giveaway "snitch" comment further confirmed it. It was an awful experience that was frankly unnecessary. Food was relatively good, customer service was...
Read moreWaited 30 mins JUST to place my order. Several cars drove off during this time. When I’d initially pulled up there was only 3 cars in front of me. Not a long line at all and yet each car waited a long time to place their order. When I pulled up to the pick up window a car pulled up beside me to tell the driver through person that she was missing nuggets. The female drive through person said that she was probably lying and that the whole reason I had to wait so long was because of her order. I then proceeded to wait for another 15 mins while I stared through the window at what I knew was likely my drinks but were not given to me. Finally, I received my order and let the now male drive through person know I still was waiting on my drinks. He looked around confused and said “oh she didn’t receive her drinks” the other woman pointed to the now watered down diet cokes and he then passed them to me. Angry I said “y’all need to get it together this was terrible I sat here and waited this whole time and y’all could have atleast handed me my drinks” the male drive through person replied that he wasn’t sure what was going on. I tried to check my order as best I could before driving off but once I got home realized, the chicken nuggets I had ordered for my daughter were no where to be found. Worst experience I’ve ever received at a fast food restaurant. I’d call to get a refund but I’d rather not even deal with...
