Was very disappointed! (LONG POST) We come to this location often but we usually go thru the drive thru. This day my husband and I went inside because we didn’t have the kids. We placed our order and paid. I then asked the cashier if he could ring me up for an extra side of toast. He told me “not to worry about it, he would put it on my plate”. I thanked him and proceeded to wait for our food. My name is called and I grab our tray and head to the table. I noticed I didn’t have an extra toast so I asked about it. The cashier asked the cook for it. I’m gonna assume he was a manager because he pulled our order back up on the screen and stated that we didn’t pay for it. The cashier told me he would bring it out, so I went back to the table and then noticed my food all except the traditional wings were cold. So I returned to the counter and asked that my food be made fresh. The same cashier took my plate to the back and said he would handle it again. Ok so I received my fresh order of food MINUS the extra toast I was MORE THAN WILLING TO PAY FOR. So my husband went to the counter to ask for it and to get the right dressing for his salad seeing how they gave him the wrong kind. The “MANAGER” / cook did the EXACT same thing again stating we didn’t pay for the extra toast and making smart remarks. My husband offered to pay but by then we were both frustrated that we were not able to enjoy our food all because he was concerned about us paying for a slice of toast that was OFFERED to us AFTER we asked to purchase it. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location. Our food I feel like was rushed therefore it wasn’t hot. We were given leftover lunch rush food. He seemed annoyed, and didn’t want to just make the situation right by asking any questions. All he knew was “we didn’t pay for the toast” and he refused to give it to me. The toast cost .59 cents. Read moreI've been to many Zaxby's and this one is by far the worst one I've encountered so far. The staff seem young and immature. There was water dripping from the ceiling that they just let dripping on a table and onto the floor. They tried to get me to pay twice until I showed them on my credit card app that the payment went through the first time. Maybe I'm being petty, but compared to the other Zaxby's I've been to, this one ranks at the bottom.
I thought my second trip here would be better. Not at all. When you upsize your meal to a large and get 12 broken fries... enough said. There are too many other places to go where you get what you paid for. I've learned my lesson and will go to the other Zaxby's in the area. Even though this one is closer, I will travel a little further to the ones I normally go to as they treat me like a valued customer. They even know my name and what I normally order.
