I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the CT Chowder Co. food truck at my dad's surprise birthday party, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment the truck rolled up, it was clear that we were in for a treat. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure every detail was perfect for our special event.

The food was nothing short of spectacular. The clam chowder was rich and creamy, packed with fresh clams and just the right amount of seasoning. It was the best I've had, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. The lobster rolls were another highlight, brimming with tender, succulent lobster meat on a perfectly toasted bun. Each bite was pure bliss. Every guest of the party ranted and raved about how delicious everything was. Many had even talked about having them for their next big event.

I am admittedly the one that always orders the same thing. The Mac n cheese and mashed sweet potato with the walnuts (or is it pecans. Idk. It's tasty) in brown sugar (I believe) on top. I always order them together, have them at home where I add butter to the Mac and then add the sweet mash pot on top and pop in the microwave for a bit to warm up and oh.. my... goodness! I can't get enough! Hey, don't judge what you haven't tried! Put a little of each on your fork and lemme know your experience!

They have amazing everything else. (As my roommate grades. She's the carnivore)

Tips: You can dine in but be prepared. theres only a couple tables in fairly close quarters (I usually take to go or get delivery) They are willing to modify certain things but may need a day or 2 advanced notice. They work hard and certainly deserve a good attitude from their patrons, right? Just my 2...

Very disappointed in how we were greeted here. I brought my dad who was visiting from out of town. While the lady behind the counter was extremely pleasant and sweet, another in the back was extremely rude.

I asked if my elderly father could briefly use the restroom. The woman behind the counter said yes, the other shouted and screamed. I still tried to brush it off and order. However, when we noticed the same one shouting and screaming would be preparing our food, we decided to cancel the whole order.

It's a shame because the first lady was kind enough to provide us with a sample of the delicious chowder. I was about to drop $80 despite the rude welcoming. But I can't trust that same extremely rude person would not also somehow tamper with our food. At the very least, there was no way I was going to pay to be insulted and mistreated.

As nice as the food tasted, I can't recommend an establishment that employs someone who so brazenly mistreats...
