Maybe I caught them on an "off" day, but I think the pizza was pretty average. It was far from the worst I've ever had, but definitely far from the best as well. The phone was ringing off the hook in this place. Takeout seems like the bulk of their business. Only a few tables inside, and the ambience is nothing to brag about. I really could care less about the scenery inside if the pizza is good. Ordered 2 small pies 1 eggplant and 1 mashed potatoes and bacon. Eggplant was decent, little lackluster on the flavor. But of course, the pizza. (Sure, there's a full menu that I'm sure is great, but come on.) We ordered a pepperoni, and a mashed potato/bacon pie, and chatted with the friendly owners while they baked in the brick oven. Just delicious, crispy crust, very thin, partly charred undercarriage like the style should be, and impossible not to finish everything.
Reasonable - honestly, rather cheap - prices, and they are cash-only. Well worth a detour if you...
