Subway — Restaurant in North Haven

Updated Review So I have been to a few Subways over the past few weeks and they have definitely improved their quality. Went to the one here in North Haven again and the two guys working were excellent. Super friendly and energetic. Made 4 subs for the family and they were great. Not like the last experience I had there with Jen. Definitely would return when these guys were working again! I left my old review here because I was aggravated with the service I got from the woman Jen.

I don’t understand this place. I ordered a sub and asked for a little more shredded cheese on the sub and I get smacked with $1.20 charge. Literally a tiny bit extra. Subway has really gone downhill in the last few years. Their bread has the texture of a sponge and never tastes fresh. With all the little mom and pop delis in this area I would choose them over Subway any day. The only reason I went here was because I had a bunch of tokens to redeem that were expiring from buying subs for other people. Definitely won’t be back to this...

I am writing this review to help the public understand not to go to this subway. After coming here all the time recently whoever is working here has decided not to show up and come out when you enter wanting to get a sandwich. I walked in and rung the bell several times, there are cameras on the inside and I know that the worker is in the back doing who knows what the heck. But he will not come out to make you a sandwich. Personally if I was his boss I would have already fired him because you are losing customers who are just leaving right out the door. When people come into subway they come because they are hungry and would like a sandwich made and pay for it. But I guess when you enter this subway you can wait all day long because the employee will not come out and make you a sandwich. If i could give less than 1 star I would. This is by far the worst Subway around. For the amount of money you charge for a sandwich 99% of the time I have to tell your employees how many peices of bacon is normal for a subway & lately depending on workers I've have footlong sandwiches come with no lie 4 peices of meat laid flat. Half of the workers (who I don't think are there anymore, I haven't seen them in over 2 months) are or were pretty good but the "manager" ones are snotty & short when you ask why you're getting so little. The other employees as of late all seem to be brand new & have very little training which is not their fault.

My husbands samswiches seem to have worse luck than mine since he always find a hair in them.
