Every time I visit this location I find them doing something inappropriate. Tonight when I stopped by the young lady working the food line said she was new there and couldn’t tell me the name of the employee who was sweeping the floor around her feet while she was preparing burritos and bowls. I found out after I ordered and voiced my complaints to the cashier that this young woman’s name was ‘Kate’ if that information was even true. My issue with this location is every time I stop by either you’ve got employees on the line eating and drinking soda or an issue like the issue tonight. I decided to give this location a review because the manager is still the same and isn’t working to correct these employees in my opinion. My last complaint I let her know employees are eating food on the line, she asked well what was he eating I said I just saw him eating chips and drinking soda, she told me that employees are allowed to taste the chips while on the food line good to know employees can eat and drink while cooking. Today At 9:10pm an associate was sweeping the floor and she even stored degreaser bottle on the same shelf as the chips, another concern of mine was there is no reason to be sweeping the floor where all sorts of food that is still being distributed to paying customers is uncovered. Not acceptable when customers are still ordering menu items. I can understand wanting to get home in a timely fashion, so you should start cleaning the back of the house first then once their are no customers about 20-25 minutes before closing start on the front of house. Not at all considering going back they’ve gotta follow health regulations...
Read moreChipotle gave me food poisoning! Craig Road and Lossee, in Las Vegas. On October 28, 2016 I decided to give the new restaurant in the area "Crackerbarrels" a try. However, after the host advised that the wait would be an hour. My 10 year old son facial expression said he was not having it! Considering it was almost 12:00 noon and he hasn't eaten and could not bare the wait for Crackerbarrels pancakes. So we decided to leave and drive right up the street to 5 guys his choice and my choice Chipotle which was painful and a watery decision. Sidebar: I haven't patronized this place since the national outbreak. However, this day I decided to be bold. I order a chicken burrito and purposely said, "not a lot of chicken". In the back of my mind I had to be thinking of the outbreak. In retrospect I should have walked out because they decided to go skimpy on everything! I shrugged it off, paid for my burrito and raced to the car where my 10 year old was chomping down his burger and fries. I unwrapped my burrito and took 4 bites and instantly said to myself this burrito is not good! I drive 7 miles toward Walgreens and picked up a few items that took about 10 minutes. After my son and I returned to my car I looked at my Son and said I don't feel good. My mouth started to get watery. I put the pedal to the metal and raced home 2 minutes away. I pulled up and jumped out the car and started EAaaaRLIng/throwing up my burrito in my front lawn! I finally made it inside and started dry heving. This continued for two days along with diarrhea, cold sweats and sleeping. Needless to say I had a terrible Halloween weekend! I will never eat at...
Read moreI came to this chipotle on my lunch break to order a steak bowl. After I started my order I was told they were out of steak and it would come out shortly. I looked in the kitchen and noticed the cook was handling food with no gloves on and it was steak done just sitting in a container waiting to be cut. I waited about 15 minutes watching the staff be negligent so I asked for the manager and advised him that the cook had no gloves while handling food and that I didn’t understand their process but saw the staff being negligent on prepping the steak. I have an hour lunch and spent 20 minutes of it just waiting while being skipped in line. The manager told me it’s the cooks problem and he will talk to him later. I would assume someone prepping hundreds of people’s meals would be addressed asap. I asked for a discount for the terrible service and was denied. The manager and the cook should be fired for unsafe food practices, allowing it and not attempting to redeem themselves with better customer service. I didn’t want to add but I was in military service uniform as well. I recommend going to the chipotle further down Craig road and definitely will be recommending all of my servicemembers on base the same. This happened...
